It is highly arguable (and actually I have some trust in them) but there are some riders showing up, that weren`t even cyclists 2-3 years ago.
Well, you should think of their amazing physical abilities they brought in before starting professional cycling. And 2-3 years is bullshit anyway.

Hahahahahaha. He gained a full minute on Sestriere ascent. He says that he gained more time on descents than climbs and flats which is just false. He said that he was being closed on the climbs while he only lost 23 seconds to Carapaz and only a single second on Dumoulin while gapping them with 42 seconds on Finestre ascent and gaining 59 seconds on Sestriere ascent.
I am speechless.

Great reading. But what to say? I am even more confused and guess we are only left to - as the article states it: "This being cycling, you'll have to use your imagination." And that is very sad and frustrating for a cycling fan.

ASO puts their sword in the sand and told Sky Froome can't race TdF.
I hope they stick to it, and if they don't, that the peloton punishes Sky for continuing to bully the other teams. |

ASO have shown the balls unlike RCS which didn’t hold their promise, what they said at the start of the season about the whole situation that they weren’t letting froome in. Not going to lie, turned out to be a very exciting race so, I don’t know really.
There is a situation which if you look at the numbers it is a definite ban, and if given a suspension from the date of Vuelta, wouldn’t think it will be lover than 9 months so basically he would have missed the tour. I still don’t understand how UCI have not made a clear statement about this, should be over by months

To be fair, ASO should have announced it a month in an advance if they wanted to ban Froome so bad. The reason they do it now is that it will take days or even weeks for Froome to appeal to the CAS and to find out what is their decision. If this was announced a month ago, Frrome and Sky should've appealed right away, but since now it's only days away from the Grand Depart, Sky and Froome will have little to no time to react.
Now, there exist slight but unlikely possibility of Sky withdrawing/boycotting the Tour. If their motive is to pull an middle finger on ASO saying "You're banning our rider days before the start - screw you, we're boycotting", it would only fuel ASO's desire as they would've prefered the entire Sky team gone and that all of their riders are guilty like Froome by default. It will also deprive the other riders from potential payday (Thomas is an overrated version of Porte - put him in Bora or Lotto Soudal and he'd be immideately exposed) and perhaps facing big sanctions or even outright exclusion from the World Tour by the UCI.
As of now, it is only an attempt to ban Chris Froome from competing in this year's Tour - nothing official yet

I feel very strongly about this, but I'm not entirely sure in which way.
