Congrats Shonak, you've gone from cursing the Vuelta (Mollema says hi) to dominating the race!
Probably the best GC for us, sprinters did ok, Goos got the best GC result of the season and the mountain jersey by the rider nobody wanted is another nice bonus.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Great victory, Shonak! Maybe the necessary bit of luck in the time trials - in all three Herrada beat his rivals. Great race for knockout, too, 10 stages, two jerseys. Porte finally with a good result, Marco should be happy, too, Dan Martin lost a lot of time in the ITTs but was really strong in the mountains. While Majka and Pinot underperformed. Oh, and Alitalia sucked!

Thanks everybody. I came home, drunk. Still, over the moon with Herrada's performance. It's true, I got very damn lucky here that Herrada wins against Nibs and Bertie.

It's good that Matt is not on Daily to see this disastrous performance by his team.

A small little secret: Porte works well when he I get on his back all through the season (but he keeps giving me reasons to do so!). Even last year, I kept complaining and he won Colombia at the end! Top 5 in this Vuelta field is quite good. Good thing I picked this as my target GT and not the Tour 2nd in the KOM from Parra to add to it. Special mention to Svendsen to get 39th. We had an amazing TT at the end with Porte, Frank and Svendsen.
Congrats Shonak on an incredible win for Herrada. The future of stage racing is well and good with guys like Herrada stepping up. Great race for CarbonSports as well. Winning 10 stages is incredible in a GT. Probably puts them in pole position for the title now (please stop complaining knockout ).
Sucks for Jandal, Santos seem to be drifting down. Equipe Cycling did themselves a favour with 7th place.

Good race in Paix, shame Simek failed, but he will be stronger next season.
Vuelta overall not good of course... Expected better from Spilak. Kovacic did fine, better in the GC than Budyak lol...
Tsatevitch moving on the quarter finals is good

What a nearly perfect race for CarbonSports. The number of points and stage wins is insane and Engeldinger also winning the U25 jersey is damn cool, too. I'm gonna stop myself from making this post too long and too celebrating but i didnt expect that my expectations could be below the results.
I absolutely enjoyed the race. The fight between the Big 3 was super intense and every single one of them deserved the victory. Dont think I've ever seen such an entertaining gc battle. I'm convinced that Contador lost it because he didnt have team mates capable of helping him on a bad day like the others had to a bigger extend at least. And honestly, i cannot feel sad about losing the race so closely because the race was su good for me anyway and Herrada overcoming the odds to beat his former mentor and deny Nibali the career grand slam is auch a good story. Congrats Shonak, deserved victory.

I will never stop complaining when i see sth that looks wrong (like Quebec...) but i fully agree with you. We are now in the pole position for the title and ita hard to imagine that we can still lose it. Thanks to everyone congratulating me for a great race throughout the stages.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Qinghai, Quebec and Montreal posted. Qinghai with a video of some nice desert landscapes.
Spoiler Incredible race by Amir. Joining the group late by his own with pure willpower and then winning with a late surge in the sprint.

Thanks, Don Shonak! Qinghai Lake video blocked again, damn copyright.
Decent result, though sadly Monsalve once again didn't make the top 10. Quebec a disappointment (poor Denifl 137th), but what a pleasant surprise in Montreal! How on earth...?

Tragic Vuelta for us with De Gendt's crash that probably secures our relegation, though Brueur's TT result almost made up for it in hilarity.
Nizzolo is really showing something special in Quebec though, we've always done terribly here but now he's onto something special.

Good top 10 places in Canada. 2nd place in Quebec is awesome with 9th from Nowaczek. Montreal wasn't that good race. Still 8th place is decent. It will definitely boost us in rankings. But still we will be first to miss promotion again
Thanks for the reports! |

Henttala and Laas did pretty well in Quebec and Montreal. I'm keen on keeping these riders next season
