Oh no, why did you mention the archive file? I had totally forgotten about that! Now I know what I'll spend a few hours doing, dammit! Smile

London won by the same team that always wins, whether they have a specialist for the terrain or not. Smile But I shan't complain, Van der Sande overperformed, too.

Great to see Durbridge in the lead in TONE! Probably won't be enough for a win, but still nice to be in this position

ROOOOOOBERT! Great to win the Surrey Clasic and in what way, bridging over to the Willier train and outsprinting Pelucchi

Durbridge still in 4th after the selective stages is obviously excellent Smile It would be very cool if the final TT would give us a GC podium here

Tour of Northern Europe always very exciting. So many different riders are competitive. Will be an exciting final TT. Will the cobble specialist, puncheur, sprinter or time trialist win this race?

Course du Lac d'Annecy posted with video: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1285977

"Guys, we have Boom and Sagan in GC contention and great depth on the cobbles. How can we get away with a GC victory?"

"Hmm. Team attack with all team mates right from the start? Its my go to tactic in pcm and it works 20% of the time every time."

"No, I have a brilliant plan: when the other favourites attack we let Senechal follow their attack"

"As a brake to stop them from cooperating while the others are chasing behind?"

" no to chase with them to sprint it out for the stage win"

"But he cant sprint? And is outside of GC contention. Shouldnt we use our depth to deliver one of our leaders into a great position?"

"I dont care about anyone else. I wamt senechal to sprint to a top 5"

Annecy was okayish i guess...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Decent race in Poland for us with Puccio and Voss being about where to be expected. Apart from that not much happening for us in this race.

Thanks for the race Shonak!

Rolland with a decent sixth place in Annecy considering the field, Jungels reasonable in ToNE, Bouhanni not the star he was the year before.

Lovely work by Quintana. Nice way to come around the more disappointing season he had so far. Also a great ride

Also GvK is cheating. Great job by Sep on the cobbles stage, sadly not so in the other ones.

Dev Team running well in Rio

Annecy was too selective for us, Ospina can't use his decent SPR to get us surprise points if he's not in a good group Sad

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Let's start with RideLondon. So close for Pelucchi to get a big win for us, but since June he's really upping his game, so it levels out with the following races of this month. Also Sanz doing great in Pologne sprints, so our sprinting duo performing really well lately

Moser, Moser, Moser... wtf were you doing in Pologne? 2nd in GC without a stage win isn't enough for a Goal Race. And also not winning in Rio, with a 3!!! point gap to the second best rider in the race Rolling Eyes

What an illustrious field in Annecy. CCC must be the team with the most successful midrace to late attacks, again two riders up front, rewarded with a great result. Well done!

Excellent day of results for our team. Van der Sande a surprising 6th in London, Valgren a good 8th in Poland and Poels with yet another podium in Rio.

What a performance from Puccio in Rio, absolutely brilliant. Our other guys were nonexistent, still an awesome race though. Smile

Thanks again Shonak. Smile

Gotta love TONE, glad to see Vanmarcke get a win in as well, long overdue. I doubt GVK has a big enough gap in the the overall.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A couple of Top 10 finishes for Ciolek is nice to see. Need to get back to the mountains though so Kudus and Berhane can show their strengths again

Yeah, it must be weird because we have never been so active in the breakaways before.

I think it's a first time Ulissi did something right in Poland. 3rd place is awesome, Komisarek also with good performance.

Wow lots to catch up on:

1)TDF Stage 17 onwards - Good ITT from Porte. Brilliant Alpe d'Huez stage for us with 3 in the top 10. Unsurprisingly, Porte fails in the next mountain stage. Makes up for it in the final mountain stage to barely get into the top 10. Final position of 9th after Suntory's misfortune is very much underwhelming. Frank and Brambilla with quite good races in the end.

2)Tour de Pologne - Till stage 5, I was overjoyed with Intxausti in the top 5. But then, reality hit back. 13th in this climbing field is pathetic! Can't believe he's been this bad this season.

3)World Ports Classic - Two 10th place finishes and a final position of 10th for Bauhaus. So consistent!

4)ToNE - Just 15th place after stage 6 for Van Avermaet is unsatisfactory. Not sure how much he can improve in the closing stages.

5)Course du Lac d'Annecy - 52nd for Intxausti. LOLMAX!!
