Time to hunt for stage wins! Don't think Roche will get a good GC, because of his 77 MO
I think he will be top 5

Roche definitely has everything needed for a top 5 here, but it all comes down to the first hilly stage, I suspect. If he can get the leader's jersey there, or at least stay high up in the GC, there's no reason he shouldn't do well also on the mountain stages, to defend his GC.
Lecuisinier, Herklotz and Wellens must be the top three favourites based on previous racing this season, which is cool, as neither of them are riders you expect to win such a race already this season. Kind of a weak startlist as pointed out by others, but that only makes it sweeter for those who are actually here. Good luck to all of you, eventhough I strongly suspect our hopes of catching Puma in the overall team rankings will be well and truly gone after this race. On paper, they should be set for a huge race!
Looking forward to follow the racing, Aquarius97! |

Nice to see Manninen mixing in with the sprint.
Started far back but still took a point so that's nice - every point counts and it boosts my trust in him for when he is maxed next year.

Quite a pity Bauhaus didn`t attempt to sprint in his home race.
Would have been nice to see him fight for late top10, though can`t expect anything by him really.
All save was most important. |

Glad we stayed out of trouble, good to see Kelderman up there too. Would've loved some points for Herklotz to maybe challenge the sprinters for the jersey, but that always was a long shot with two of them standing out.

Tenth place in PTHC field is not bad from Manarelli, who has been lackluster this season.

Good stage by Roosen. Picking up a few points by being third in the GC and leading the U25

Not surprising we were among the bottom teams on the startlist. Damn that's a weak squad

Thank you Aquarius for the race, getting off to a great start!

Reinhardt is an interesting rider. His 79 sprint makes it hard for him to take part in sprints if the field has a lot of 80+ guys, but when he does take part he is usually a top contender with his 84 acceleration. If I promote this year, he'll probably be for sale because I just don't think the game will let him take part in PT field sprints, even though he would be a top-5 guy sometimes.

Nice start by Reimer, 4th is acceptable since he was not even in the preview regarding sprinters |

Great start to the race. The leadout was almost perfect so that Guerao had no difficulties finishing it off. Looking forward to the next stages. |

Guerao this time unfortunately loosing the battle for Cav's backwheel against Manarelli, which put him in a difficult position for the sprint. 1st and 3rd in the first two stages is good enough. It's only fair that both of the top sprinters get to wear the leaders jersey for one day.
Congrats DaveTwoBob! |
