This is a thread, in which we want you - all managers and reporters - to help us getting an overview of which races and stages need to be looked at / fixed / replaced for the next season. We all know the frustration, when a stage didn't go as expected: may it be for simply stupid AI (which we obviously can't fix) or through unlucky stage designs or clear gaps not being rewarded at the finish. Graphical glitches? Or a stage, that annoys you for breakaway wins for several years now? Particulary reporters may recall graphical issues or game crashes / freezing (of course I will go through the reporters threads anyway), missing time gaps and stuff like that. Narrow roads, obviously, as well as spline-2 roads in sprint stages (we would prefer spline-3 roads)..
This is your place to address any kind of issues and bugs regarding stages / races in this year's schedule! Do not share your frustration about riders underperforming though But of course also suggestions for better stage design are welcomed: a hilly stage not working properly? Give is a shout.
I would prefer to keep the format as follows:
Month | Race | Stage | Issue | | | | | | | | | | | | | MARCH | Tour de Romandie | 4 | Narrow roads / Fixed | | | | | | | | | APRIL | Tour de Langkawi | 3 | Time Gaps / Mountain |
To give an example..
Just copy the table and put your suggestions / bugs reports in it. I will collect the data on regular base then. Feel free to ask any questions or discuss some suggestions as well.

Thanks for this - a great idea, will be sure to use it if the time comes

Tour of California stage 5. It isn't necessarily bugged, but have given crap results 2 seasons in a row, which makes the race nothing but a lottery.

Paris-Nice final stage, and in general, hilly/mountain stages with the last climb being too far away from the finish (more than 20-30 kms), no one attacks.
Some stages it can be understandable that are put for sprinters with great hill stat, but when reporting PN, it was a total anti-climax that final stage, with a really close GC battle and no one trying to do anything

A lot of good intentions here, but I think we should ignore the AI "flukes". A stage working bad 1 or 2 year is just that. Or you would have to run it a few more times to confirm.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I assume after a report this is what would be done, they're not just going to delete or change stuff based off one report

This.
As I tried to say: of course we won't remove every stage, that produced bad AI or breakaway wins (since bad AI can't be fixed anyway and it's also heavily related to the startlist matrix and stuff). But if you feel like reporting on a bad gameplay in a cerain stage or race, feel free to give it a go. It will help us to get an overview.

I do agree with SotD though, it has been an awful stage. Yes, a lot of action, but it has been a complete lottery. And a race like California shouldn't be decided like that imo. Slagter winning is fine enough and Juul-Jensen doing very well on the hilly stage is normal, but something is a bit off if you can get a podium, iirc, overall with a 70 Mo rider just because you have absolutely crazy gaps on one stage.

MARCH | La Tropicale | 6 | 2 Spline Sprint | JUNE | Lac Megantic Classic | 1 | 2 Spline Sprint |
I'd say that today's Megantic highlighted what can be a problem with sprint finishes on 2 spline roads - riders get more bunched, more chance of blocked in. It was designed as a NC, where that wouldn't be a factor - but zcts is mine, so easily fixed if the race is kept.
Also noticed it when reporting Stage 6 of La Tropicale.

May | 4 Jours de Dunkerque | 1 | Passive AI |
This one been acting stange for a few years now. I remember a mass sprint and this year it was even worse with riders not even sprinting but just crossing the line.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Regarding to ToC issue, I believe just simple switching of stages 5 & 6 could work. GC leaders would be more attentive after mountain stage and there wouldn't occure such random result with huge time gaps.
