Kudus and Roglic both very impressive here with Amador fading. I think either one would have been a worthy winner, so it is cool to see them do well. Looking forward to the TTT, should be one of the most interesting stages.

Great win from Roglic, did not expect him to win here. Congrats Matt!
But Beñat, you've got to be fucking kidding me mate. Brenes has been sensational so far, at least.
Thanks tsmoha once again

Wow, Roglic! Fantastic performance by him. Suddenly Generali straight back in the promotion battle?
Generali has never left
Finally a +3-5 day happening to us too Roglic makes absolutely staggering use of that and is suddenly back in the podium fight. I mean, he'd actually be 100% sure of the podium if TTT AI wasn't so... uhm... unpredictable yes that's the word.
Gotta pray to some deity now, thanks for all the nice congrats guys.

Hmmmm, Úran did not have the best of days it seems. Fourth seems to be the highest possible, which is diappointing since I was counting on a podium at least.

Thought it was going to be a horrible day for Shikai, but he again came back very strong and managed to gain time on a lot of ppl and only lost to a few. I feel like a podium wont happen with the TTT left, but if it did magically happen I would be ecstatic. This has definitely been our best race of the year so far.

Massive win by Roglic, really big race for him!
Just as I predicted for us here, 2 breaks, 0 points, alright.
Thanks again tsmoha, really superb!

So much better by Kudus but c'mon, can I please have a win?
Salvages a reasonable GC position too, just a shame it wasn't riding for something much higher.

Final stage will come tomorrow, as I'm a bit ahead of the time schedule
Tough stage for Kudus here. A great ride though, but with Craven already losing a stage pretty close, it surely hurts. Would have deserved it. Roglic though. Congrats, matt!

Oh f*ck off PCM. Our TTT team is decent with 78-75-75-73, but we f*cking finish last, 24 seconds off second-last and 1'30 off the winner????? And on top of that Úran drops to seventh where he should've podiumed. Well, see you in CT next season! Was nice will it lasted.
--Rant over, but it might take a while before the anger cools down
Thanks tsmoha for the amazing reports, I know for who I will vote in a few weeks time. Congrats to UBS on a dominant display, congrats Berg and Generali on the remaining podium positions and the stage win.
EDIT: removed some naughty words, children might read this

But what an amazing race to follow, thank you very much tsmoha. The graphics in the preview was very cool! |

generali setting a new best time soon though. No surprise. The actual surprise though is, that the stage-hunting team dropped roglic in the process!
22'22" for generali at the finish..
+ 24" for roglic eventually! That ain't the perfect deal for roglic, who surely would have preferred to finish alongside his teammates, but he obviously hadn't the best day after his efforts in yesterday's mountain stage. Given the split times from berg cycles/nazaret, he will now have to hope that his finishing time will be enough to defend his 2nd in the gc.
lol, that's not a surprise either
It's a 72 TT guy we're talking about ladies and gentleman, and the motherfucker is 2/2 in trying to keep his teammate's pace and utterly failing at it. And I don't even demand he keeps that pace for 50 kms. He lost 24 seconds in a 18.5 kms TTT we didn't even dominate, with teammates that can't even fucking climb and are supposed to be more tired than he is. Unfortunately, PCM's logic only ever works when you don't want it to.
And look, it would have been 100% fine if he didn't lose the 2nd place to Nazaret, but it just so happens that he did by 4 seconds. Oh well, he wasn't supposed to finish this high anyways, so this has been a good race for us.
2 stage wins and a 3rd place in the GC definitely put us back in the promotion conversation. Thanks tsmoha as always and congrats Bushwackers!

dreadful race, just dreadful. I look forward to see next season if buffing Poljanski to 78 Mountain will improve his placements and not fall victim to PCM not respecting a semi high stat at all.
Shapira crashing didn't help, but seems like PCM forgets about Feillu falling back in time by a lot and not being able to join a break. As for Guardini, he won a stage and had a bad sprint + a mediocre one. He was never going to challenge Amador for the green.
Thanks for the great coverage tsmoha. Congratulations to bush for a much needed win for him with their high ambitions

Why I'm I not surprised to see Roglic dropped? At least Generali got the stage win, congrats on that Matt.
A very dominant performance from Amador this. Also a great race for Berg, with 2nd, 7th, 10th and the team GC.

Shame to see Brenes just fall outside the top tenon the final stage. A good result finishing with the best TTT teams but still somehow having Kudus jump over Intxausti GC wise is frustrating. A race we should have scored a lot more points in as it almost perfectly suits the team. 6th, 11th and some decent stage results definitely not good enough.
Congrats UBS on the win, Amador never looked in doubt
And thanks again for the lovely reports tsmoha!

Not last! Although last two positions on the GC and many stage lanternne rouges, hopefully the Vancouver Cycling Authorities take the hint and don't invite us back next year.
We got XP, so that's a good result and Padun actually climbed alright, missing out on actually getting us some (very minor) points because he lost time on a flat stage, Domagalski and Kanepejs also got stage top 30s.
Amador having a big race with all three classifications in his pocket, unlucky for Generalli to drop Roglic, but it must be said that he had a massive race either way - and the 30 stage win points outweigh the 22 points for finishing 2nd rather than 3rd on the GC.
Finally thank you very much for the reports tsmoha! Amazing quality throughout and the graphics in this race in particular were fantastic!
