Not unexpected but still disappointing from Clarke on stage 1. ITT should have nothing for us
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I'll take 5th for Bennett, though his lack of a train seems to answer whether Hochmann, Havik and he will work together...
Congrats to Sauber, very nice start to the race for sammy!

3rd on the first stage is positive, even though it was Thwaites that bagged that result for us. Now onto the TT, where I really dont know how it will work out for us, hopefully we bag 3x top 10 on the stage and we can avoid break away chaos to keep the high GC places... Please?!?!
Congrats to Sauber for the first stage win!

Not looking good in the sprinting department. Not sure what to expect from Grabovski either...

Ma doing pretty bad and Meyer not surprising either. Who's gonna save this race for us? |

Not looking good at all unfortunately. Grabovski not living up to expectations. Van Zandbeek did fine, met expecations. Even top 10 looks out of reach now I wonder if the sprinters can bring some cheer in the other stages.
Thanks for the report tsmoha

Hardly surprising that cycleYorkshire would deliver at this one, Congratulations.
Just hate TT's - sooo boring, but next season better swallow the fact that I need someone to ride them.

Congrats to cycleYorkshire on the win. Though to be honest. They still are one big loser of this stage.
Having that lineup should have ended with more in the top10 and hence high GC chances.
TTs really not working well in this edition. |

38th... Congrats to ryant for the win! Not winning today would have been very disappointing with so much top TT specialists

Congrats to ryant, maybe not the expected depth but who can complain about a TT win in these times..
With the little bit of PCM17 experience in the last few weeks, I feel like it didn't get any better since. Maybe randomness got less, but I got the impression any non-pan-flat profiles favor climbers over TT specialists too much.
Could be an insufficient sample size of course.

The randomness is rather alarming if you ask me!

Although not the most exciting result, 7/11 isn't too bad (not the convenience store though, that's pretty bad).
Hopefully Bennett/Havik/Hochmann can pick up some points in the remaining stages, but if we hold onto these results, along with Mullen in the youth jersey, it will be a reasonable trip to Germany.
Congrats to ryant and Yellow Jersey, both outstanding results overall!
