Stunning race and a stunning report trek, well done! Loving the behaviour of the riders here, Bewley ending his streak but at least it's making way for a great winner in Frankenstayen, with a great team performance around him. Congrats knockout! Also love to see Borges doing well again after Luxembourg and unlucky for Ignatiev, would have been an amazing winner as well but a deserved top 10 as well.

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Good race for us. Ignatiev the most active rider in the final. Not strong enough to stay away but still managed to get top 10. Kolesnikov also very promising debut.
Pozzato going all out on La Manie to tire out Bewley so a better puncheur could outsprint him worked perfectly. Still record holder
Thanks Trek for the very enjoyable read!

Fair enough. Congrats knockout! We'll be back next year, enjoy today.
Great race plan, sadly again an underwhelming sprint not being in the right wheel and not having enough punch left after doing the right thing on the hills.
However, I much prefer this to a passive race hiding in the peloton and then being involved in crashes or splits. It looked like a real MSR with every rider type trying to play it to their strengths.
I'm not entirely sure yet how to move forward, considering the game brought out the puncheur side of him here already. Does more HIL give him enough energy to both attack and sprint, or is more pure SPR needed to get the result in the end...
Demare needs to become a better rouleur for him to win San Remo I think.

Belated but very well deserved congratulations to knockout for the win in the race of the year so far Looks like the monster has arisen finally!!
Made all the more animated by trek's brilliant report! This race and report will take some beating.

If you're referring to secondary stats, I doubt there's room to improve those in my training plan since upgrades have been limited to two per year.

If you can't train him enough, maybe completely stop training him?

Always cool to ride a good race in our first PT event ever. Kadri with some nice attacking racing and Kuznetsov hanging on in the pack as well is nice

I agree... There's no point in just training for the sake of training if you can't make him a top 5 rider in any terrain. Just give it up

Wow Houle!! 4th is a fantastic result improving on last years race by one position makes me extremely happy I went with the Sprint training earlier in the season now a wonderful result for the team
On a side note great reports and speed of their reports all are extremely well written and a joy to read the suspense in this one in particular throughout was fantastic |

You prefer Super Saiyan Herklotz over Super Saiyan Demare despite having Lecuisinier?

Cool to have a couple of Borges' fans. Hopefully he won't let all of this media attention get over his head. I think I'll bet against Isostar's relegation just because of that

Fantastic report of amazing race! As others, I´m very surprised how AI handled with the race. Unfortunately my team would need the opposite course to have any chance for good result. Another goal failed and another step down to PCT
