Woah, weird stage. Break win was entirely our fault as we didn't have any real domestiques (Rabottini was pitiful ), but cool to see Lierse grabbing another win, congrats Ollfard!
Kwiatkowski 6th is cool and moving into the points Jersey lead is hilarious. Obviously he'll drop out of it tomorrow though.
Thank you very much once again Roturn!

The final hilly stage was always going to be the stage where it really counts. But good to see Uran trying. Congrats to Lierse!

Ehm cmon PCM. Think last year at the very same stage Roche got dropped by the main group and then came back to win the stage. Then Uran almost does the same thing again, that can't be a coincidence.
As for our teams performance :

As I expected nothing major was passed in this stage, it was a shame Brandão did not hold the second place but a podium is always a podium. Now I expect him to fight for the mountain classification until the end of the race, and it was good that we practically doubled our advantage over Eritel in the team standings...

Good recovery from Úran after yesterday and the early struggles of today. Too bad he didn't gain places in the GC. Also good to see Martinez taking some points.
Congrats Ollfardh, and thanks roturn for the amazing reports so far.

Meh, shame that pretty much nothing eventually happened in this stage. Could've been a chance to distance some of the less punchy climbers, but clearly it wasn't meant to be.
Looking forward to the last 2 stages then! Thanks again roturn, and it looks like it might eventually not be that bad of a season again for Lierse.

Wow, what a performance by Dall'Oste, he surely deserve his win and GC rank after that.
Also great job by Uran getting back into contention. Happy to see Travis Meyer taking 4th place and climbing up to 42nd overall. We'll take every point we can!
Thank you very much for the entertaining reports roturn! |

Not what I was hoping for at all. Zaini did decently atleast, but ideally there would have been no break...

Certainly annoying that Teklehaimanot worked himself to exhaustion. No benefit to be gained for Eritel today in doing that, and it loses him a Top 15 GC position, and us some time in the Teams Classification too.
The only bright side is no time bonuses for Kwiatkowski, meaning there's always a chance that Stage 6 could go our way.

Congrats Lierse! Hopefully a few more performances like that will keep you going for the rest of the season. Surprisingly not as selective as I would have thought - 3 of my tie was s finished in the main group. That shouldn't happen here with the team I've sent thanks again for the reports! |

luckily I'm not riding in Eritrea, cause the race has been a shitshow so far - hopefully the route will be replaced next year...
congrats to the lucky winner though, seems like MOL and Lierse took the edge of luck early this season

This stage used to produce breakaway wins in the past, iirc. Fair enough congrats to MOL. Also Lierse enjoying breakaway success most recently. Now for Kwiatek to win the final stage.

very strange stage.
Silvestre let me look bad in this race ..
I now pray to the gods of pcm so that Brandão attacks in search of the mountain jersey and that the three of the front manage to not loose time in this last stage

What dirt do MOL and Lierse have on roturn Pity that it pushes Denz straight to the Points jersey lead.

Well, what changes would you propose, while keeping it true to the M/H/F design?

Nico Denz what a trooper! In the break every day and going for the stage win, a podium finish is more than we expected but leading the points competition is unbelievable - can a certain M Cavendish take note

Not sure how I feel about Lobato easily finishing ahead of Bouhanni. Would prefer if they worked together, also annoyed we didn't chase the break down.

Eight, third and eight are decent sprint results for Drapac. My hope for the next stage is either Úran going bananas trying to win GC places or someone like Weiss going into the breakaway which will make it till the end.

I'm not sure, but probably having at least one of the hill stages before the mountain may help. Or breaking up the classic Eritrea system and make it a "mostly hill" one climbing race, or one where there are a couple of 50/50 mountain/hill stages...

Well that was a wasted podium opportunity for Reinhardt. Reichenbach dropping at least doesn't hurt our team classification ranking and maybe losing time today will allow him to be aggressive in the next stage which suits him very well. Its been an interesting race, thanks roturn.
