Meh, worst edition of Quebec since it's introduction. Nobody really attacked. Well Uran did, but you get the point.
Really too bad there was headwind on the climbs, that makes Quebec as boring as a sprinters race.
Hope Montreal is going to be better. These races in Canada are fun when the attacks are there, but this year just no racing |

After a slow start and some injury afair, Gaviria won a stage in Britain and came second today. Looks like he is gaining form just in time for Gaviria Bergen 2017
Imo he does not have a slightest chance on such a course against likes of Sagan, GVA, EBH or Kwiatek.
Thanks for the ammunition

So, no comments on yesterday's race? GP Montreal is increasingly becoming my favourite of the two Canadian classics given its unpredictability. Everyone seemed to focus exclusively on Sagan instead of looking at the break's attack as a menace. |

How about the Danes messed it up.
First stage on Tour Denmark they just stopped the peloton, because the breakaway was sent away on the wrong road. Not like in old times a little bit, but several minutes up the wrong road as I understood it. My Danish isn't the very best, but that it is a scandal is sure as hell.
Neutralized in a small village on the Danish countryside.
Time for a beer I guess at the local
Then this is the country with "Probably the best beer in the world", or isn't it.

That's right. The painful situation of Jesper Worre is the organizer of the race |

Looks like Wellens going to land a win in GP de Wallonie. It's been a while since the last time this race wasn't decided on the citadel in Namur itself.
Gap at 45", 8k to go.

Trentin On Fire
la-la-la-la-la (sorry Vardy and Will Griggs)
Next year they might consider if Tour of Denmark should be a high UCI-race.
Twice they messed up and got the riders on the wrong road, then the stormy weather neutralized stage 2. Only to have a sponsor "balloon" drop on the road (as in TDF some years ago) and stopping the peloton during the last 30km.
Some of the biggest stars (non-Danish) like Degenkolb and Bouhanni just had a holiday cruising until they decided to step off.
More or less it's a race for domestic Danish riders getting their legs in order for World Championship.

Brilliant Bahrain in Emillia.
Visconti wins from a 15km solo, while Nibali finishes 2nd looking ominous for Lombardia. Uran, 3rd. |

Esteban Chaves crashed heavily on a descent while chasing Visconti, that might have helped the Italian maintain that advantage to the peloton. The Colombian was sent to the hospital for some X-rays. |

Tour of Almaty. (or is it Tour de Lutsenko)
It must be the most boring race on the calender, at least to watch. They made an expansion to two stages and yes the final stage had a little more scenery.
Having a look at the much more famous speed skating stadium, but couldn't help laughing at the mass force of police guarding the empty road.
Whatever did the organizers think ?
The thousands of fans couldn't find the way up to this place, so they might switch it back to that sleepy route of going up and down that Eastern-style Highway until even the riders are bored to death.
Lets close the book on this useless shit-race.

The race we waited for all season, the one time all year where Christophe races for himself rather than help out his friends, amazing!
This year it's a solo win rather than a bunch sprint too!
