De Gendt becoming the 100th rider to win a stage in each GT I think. Although Stelvio and Mont Ventoux were maybe a bit more impressive

So close for Ivan. Anyway awesome job he did today. Really clever move to attack before that climb so he could be in the mix after. Glad to see that we have a different type of rider that our typical climbers.
For once De Gendt didn't make his show, and he wins. Maybe he should think about this for next year's Tour

I don't think De Gendt is 100th rider for it. It was at 99 before this vuelta but I'm pretty sure somebody already beat him to it this vuelta. I think Trentin? |
