---Aviva Cycling Team
Our sponsor is the largest general insurer in the United Kingdom with subsidaries around the world. The company is hoping for more international name recognition by investing in a cycling team. The team management agreed with the the sponsor that we should not concentrate on the highly contested British market, but look for riders from all over the world to build a team that can compete on the CT level.

The team had a few objetives to accomplish during the transfer period, and all of them have been fullfilled.
- The team had to be composed at majority by Italian, Spanish and Colombian riders. In the main team, 17 out 18 riders, with De Backer being the only rider outside this 3 countries. And in the development team, 7 out 8 riders, with Looyen as the only exception
- The team leader had to be Italian. We were able to sign Moreno Moser, who should be the top puncheur in CT, together with Costa
- We had to have 50% of Italian riders. That actually not achieved in the main team,
with only 9 out 20 riders being from Italy, but if you count together with the dev team, we have 14 out 28 Italian riders
With Moser as the team leader in the hilly races, he had to have some decent domestiques. None of them are pure puncheurs, they are more like climbers who can go well enough in hills, but as we have 5 riders who are similar (75-76 mon, 74-75 hil), they can be shared between mountains and hills.
Gaviria will be our main rider for TTs. He is the Colombian ITT Champion.
De Backer is our leader for cobbles. It was a last minute solution looking at our lack of cobblers, that's why he is the only rider not Italian, Spanish or Colombian.
Pelucchi and Sanz are our sprinters. Pelucchi is faster but Sanz should be better in not completely flat races
And finally we have a bunch of domestiques for all terrains Development Team (Team Colpack) At the very last minute, we decided to create a U23 team so we could start watching how some young riders were doing without the need of having them in our main team
Most of them are Italian, although our two best youngters are not from Italy.
Looyen should do it great in the U23 circuit, being so close to the AVG limit and being a all-rounder rider, and Alzaga should be our cobbles leader in U23 races.
Another rider we have big hopes on him is Dario Guglielmo. He should be a great stage racer in the future.
And also we have one of the youngest riders in ICL, with Michele Lerda. Only 19, he should be either a puncheur or a climber with good ability in hills

TVM Cycling Team
Welcome to the TVM Cycling Team 2018 HQ!
Here you will find information about our riders, history, results, sponsors and all our updates throughout the year.
The jersey
The squad
Full squad TBA
Who are we?
TVM Cycling team was formed ahead of the 2015 ICL season, and competed in the second and third seasons of ICL in the Continental Tour. We narrowly achieved promotion to the World Tour at the conclusion of 2016, and somehow managed to secure our WT licence for a second year by finishing in 13th place last year.
Major sponsor TVM is a Dutch insurance company with a history of supporting cycling at the elite level. Haping previously ceased sponsorship of their cycling team in 2000 amidst a doping scandal, we are dedicated to ensuring that the Netherlands will be represented on the world stage by a committed, clean and competitive team of riders.
Following the departure of previous sponsors PricewaterhouseCoopers' (due to cost-cutting measures) and several US-based minor sponsors (who were unhappy with the lack of American riders) the team was forced to look for several new minor sponsors. We are now proud to announce we will be partnering with beslist.nl and 888 Holdings for the 2018 season, with KOGA and SMS Santini agreeing to supply the team with bikes and clothing respectively.
Giant Asia Racing Team

The new brigade
Our other sponsor from last season was bicycle manufacturer Giant. Seeking to better develop young cyclists from South-East Asia, Giant have decided to divert sponsorship from the main team and instead have founded their own under-23 squad to be based out of Taiwan. As part of this agreement, the new Giant Asia Racing Team would act as a feeder and development team to the TVM World Tour outfit and were given the opportunity to sign any eligible riders from last year's main team.

Not only the team with the longest team name in the world of procycling, also spent the longest in ICL's continental division, has finally taken a step forward. Veranclassic - AGO
This new Continental Division team, Veranclassic - AGO, will focus mainly on Belgium riders & races, but also wants to be present in the neighbouring countries (France, Germany, Luxembourg, Nederland).
Team shirt:
Management in hands of debutant SDS, also known as Nightrider78.
No known transfers yet, as we'd first like to see some examples of other players/teams.
1 Goal: Promotion to the ProContinental Division, although everyone attached to this team, already knows this sponsor goal is way too high for the modest and unexperienced team Veranclassic-AGO. |

Lufthansa's journey into the 2018 season is well and truly under way in the off-season. Today, in a short press conference held in Cologne, the team announced the additions of Emil Ritter and Klaus Gießner to the roster.
Emil Ritter
Finished 8th in the recently concluded U21 World Championships Road Race and comes with the pedigree of being one of the best talents in Germany presently. His primary skill is sprinting and he is touted to be a rider to look out for in the coming years.

Klaus Gießner
Another product of the German sprinting stable, Gießner was not selected for the U21 World Championships in a somewhat surprising decision. Able to go toe-to-toe with Ritter on most sprints, this boy can go over a hill too. Needs a little work in his support stats but there is certaily promise there.

The team management wants to add that the team is currently in the midst of renewing contracts for all their riders. At the moment, we cannot go into details but we can say that the process is proceeding quite smoothly but there is a chance of some surprises.

The Heavyweight talents of CarbonSports have been the focus of multiple rival teams' interest. Senechal, Ewan and Eisaks belong to the most talented youngsters in the world and are expected to dominate the next couple of years. That was noticed by other teams who opens their briefcase and tried to sign them to an expensive contract.
CarbonSport's Team manager had a clear message to everyone with interest: We're paying our super talents very fair and match current market prizes. They have no reason to leave as they can learn from the best when they remain on our team. And now get the fuck out of here!
