Yeah, but when you're "taking a break" after this much success and you've only been pro for a little bit still, that's generally a sign of lack of motivation or succumbing to pressure. Both very bad signs.

I don't see why we shouldn't believe the wish to take a slower approach to pro cycling, that's rather commendable although not without risk, but I don't think that is the whole story. I still think there might have been some undisclosed event either on a personal level or with the team which started off a situation that ended at this for now.
