In general there's no need to suggest riders, just because...
The DB is enormous, with 2/3 not assigned to any team. And with fewer teams in the future, there really is no reason in adding 100+ riders.

I believe riders are replaced. But to be honest, we should delete a lot of riders to lake the db a bit smaller

I didn't think 15 relatively low ability/potential riders would be such an issue

I think there is absolutely no problem with the size of the DB. It does not really matter how big amount of FAs we have in there. I think it is only a positive thing that we have enough riders to fill out the field for smaller nations in both Worlds and Continentals and that almost all real pro riders are part of the database as well. And we have exactly 6 less riders in the DB this season that in the year 2016, so the DB is getting smaller.

That is not true. We need some new riders in every season, to keep the DB balanced, to keep enough riders for competitive U23 calendar, to involve missing big riders from real cycling, as I think we all like to keep the DB at least semi-realistic.

Guess it's because they are random.. Alex Manly is a female pro for Orica
Also don't know this Jerry Allen. Adding depth is nice, but - at least for Australia or other prominent countries - there is really no need to add random riders, if there is still enough possible real riders to add in case we need more depth.

It's not. I dont care to be honest. I just dont think its necessary to add 300 new riders each season where only 60 finds s team. I think the DB makers time should/could be used better. It is a lot of manual work we ask, especially for things that isnt put to use.
If there is a need for the riders you have suggested I think that's fine. I wasn't directing my post towards you, but the discussion in general.

That could easily be done by adding a max of 100 riders each season. Atleast while the DB is so big. The only thing we need to balance is the U23, but that could be done by tweaking the existing U23 riders to have some use. Some of them will never have more than 72 in their key stat. And this being pointless fill riders that will never be signed unless certain managers have very specific tarvet areas.

Here's a few Pro Conti level or above riders we haven't got yet and then a couple from Continental teams that I know about
With the two Brits i've raced against both so got their specialisation and tried to keep them too domestique level as their is probably more good young British riders coming next year judging by the results from U23 races so far.
Williams is just a CT domestique
McCabe is one of the more improved PCT riders of the last year and in-game he's down as a climber at the moment but all his results seem to be bunch sprints so a possibility to make him a CT leader
Then Marc McNally i'm sure most will know from his many many breaks in the PT the best year i've kept 60% of his stats the same and just slightly boosted his Flat, Hill and Cobbles then given his fighter a massive boost to make him a bit more appealing and a bit more like in real life
Geoffrey Curran is a Axxeon rider who got the wrong speciality last year he's a climber at the moment should be a TT rider
Robin Carpenter is slightly underrated/underdeveloped so i've levelled him up twice level 3 using hills then added 10 to his Mountain, Prologue and TT then 3 to his hills, he then ends up looking more like his real life self.
Matteo Del-Cin needs a Level boost i've just boosted him one level using TT and not given any stats boost since he's 26 now and developed again last year
Scott Davies solid British TT who can climb well hard to find the right balance within the stats gains so may need adding at a higher level
Vandale is a hilly sprinter rides on the Silber team another Canadian talent

I think Latvia is in need for some more talents as there are very few riders who can develop into useful riders. I dont follow RL cycling close enough so correct me if i got some rider types completely wrong :P
Best talent of the country is propably Gavars but sadly he's born in 1997 only. :(
If someone knows of a Latvian talent that should be added I'd love to hear about him as Latvia seems to lack talents both in RL and MG ;)

Kanepeijs - He is already in the DB as a weak TTer but i think he is the best eligible prospect of the country. I think he is best as a puncheur but could also end up a GC / TT rider. Proposed XP Level: 2.00
Luksevics - He's also in the DB but he is a perennial unmaxed FA (and also wrong type of rider). I think he is best on flat roads as a powerhouse with good sprinting abilities. Level: 4.100.
Becis - He's a candidate for an upgrade but i don't think he's very good. Probably sprinter / prologue specialist. XP: 4.100
Dzervus - Looks like a good sprinter. XP: 4.80 - 4.100
Rublevskis - Likely yet another sprinter but since Latvia has so many of those already I would give him stats of a flat allrounder. XP: 2.00
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Could you please remove ID 8045 Dejan Maric from DB. He died last year in the Mt. Wuyi Cycling Race in China. I have 2 riders to suggest but i don't know to decide how much potential they have and with which values of the characteristics. So if someone can help me.
I would ask all the people from the Balkan to contact me so that we can create our community.

Here is my 3 suggestions.
First suggest is Aleksandar Roman. Serbian young rider, who is a specialist in XC but it's also great in Road cycling. He is good in climbing.
PCM: https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/...ndar_Roman
Here is suggestion for max stats:
| | | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PRL | | | | | | | | | xxxx | Roman | Aleksandar | 67 | 77 | 75 | 64 | 71 | 73 | 74 | 61 | 66 | 76 | 74 | 78 | 58 | SER | EU | 4 | 100 | 24 | 11 | 1996 | 5 |
Second suggestion is Dusan Kalaba. Serbian young rider too. His specialty is the sprints.
PCM: https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....?id=177660
Here is suggestion for max stats:
| | | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PRL | | | | | | | | | xxxx | Kalaba | Dusan | 76 | 65 | 69 | 72 | 69 | 73 | 74 | 56 | 79 | 79 | 58 | 68 | 78 | SER | EU | 4 | 100 | 25 | 5 | 1996 | 4 |
Third suggestion is to edit stats of Marko Stankovic. He is allrounder rider, not only sprinter.

Mikhail Mavrikakis (Already FA in the DB):
2017: Did a reasonably decent climb at Tour of Serbia, but lost 8'32" on the first flat stage and another 0'06" on the third flat stage. Had he not lost the time he would have been 20th in the GC. Stage 4 in Tour of Albania was a climb won by Francesco Bongiorno. Mavrikakis did OK to finish 24 around riders like Emanuel Kiserlovski and ahead of Stefan Stefanovic. GC just ahead of Stefanovic aswell.
2016: 5th Greek NC RR, 6th Greek NC TT. Did well to finish 4th in the 2.1 Balkan Elite Road Classic ahead of Borisavljevic, well ahead of Stefan Stefanovic, Chatzakis, Crncevic and Kalaba. Climbed well on the mountainstage of Tour of Bihor (won by Egan Bernal), finishing ahead of Borisavjlevic and well ahead of Stefan Stefanovic and Chatzakis. 23rd GC.
Miltiadis Giannoutsos:
2017: Consistantly around 25th in Tour de Serbia, 18th GC, 5th young rider. Look at above to compare. Better 2017 performance than Mavrikakis. 9th both NC RR and TT.
Zisis Soulios:
2016: Beating Matteo Rabottini, Francesco Bongiorno, Perikles Ilias in an uphill sprint to 3rd on stage 3 of Tour of Albania. Stage won by Kamberaj ahead of G. Bouglas.
Emiliano Vila:
2017: 4th NC RR, 8th Balkan Elite Road Classic around Borisavjlevic, ahead of Stefanovic.
There's a very limited information regarding Greek riders, so figures have been created based on the riders they have consistently performed around, trying to put a bit of effort into decreasing numbers where they have been poor and upped them where they have been good. Riders like Perikles Ilias, Milos Borisavjlevic, Stefan Crncevic, Xherdan Kamberaj, Georgios Bouglas, Matteo Rabottini, Stefan Stefanovic, Emanuel Kiserlovski and Panagiotis Chatzakis has been used to benchmark stats.
In 3 seasons time, when the suggested riders are maxed (at earliest) most other greek riders are decreased, retired or close to decreasing. The best riders:
Georgos Tzortzakis 35yo: 76 Sprint (Decreased)
Perikles Ilias 34yo: 72 Hill (Decreased)
Polychronos Tzortzakis 31yo
Apostolos Bouglas 31yo
Neofytos Sakellaridis 31yo
Panagiotis Vlatos 30yo
Georgios Bouglas 30yo
Charalampas Kastrantas 29yo
Feel free to fiddle around with the figures. I have tried my best to make it fit with the results and the similar riders in the DB, but obviously they can be developped in several different ways. No top talents though. The highest figure I think is 78. For Soulios as a sprinter.

He is most likely in the db? But with a crazy amount of top 10 results this year, i had to at least post this.
Other great talents would be: Ole Forfang, Anders Skaarseth, Kristoffer Halvorsen(U23 WC), Tobias Foss, Rasmus Tiller, Carl Fredrik Hagen and Torstein Træen. To mention a few.

Maxing out with 82 sprint, 72 hills, 77 flat or 78 hills and 76 sprint seems a bit over the top though. Those are basically the stats of Sam Bewley deducting the cobbles. Or similar to Caleb Ewan.
I do, however agree that he could well be added with 80/80 SPR/ACC, and due to his age he should probably start at level 2 or 3.
