How dare riders attempt to bring back a break to try and win a WT stage, they finished 20 seconds down on a tiring group of 3 riders with a fast rider like Colbrelli in the group. Even if it was a slim chance you still have to roll the dice and try.

While I agree that there was no issue with the chasing behind, it doesn't stop it being cruel on Contador after such an effort to lose by just 2 seconds.

I'm not defending team torture as a set-up but as tactics in a race I was defending them.

In your opinion right? And if you were the DS of Bahrain you could of made the call not to chase. In the end they did nothing wrong by trying to close the gap

Anyway, Trek Segafredo have definitely made the right choice signing Bertie and Pantano. It could well turn into the most entertaining combo since Piepoli and Ricco. Ugly Duck Trek finally turned into a swan.

let's hope so. Still doubting that they can fly that high.
For me Orica is beautifully combined team. Now they seems to be ready to be in picture at any race. |
