Relief.
When we decide to build a train we often do it very good so please continue with that Vedel Kvist/Kruopis.
Awesome preformance Ahlstrand, eat sleep repeat. |

Okay, obviously this race isn't going to go well. No train even with our riders, and the fact Itami "should" be one of the strongest sprinters here.

It is not ideal to see Itami not sprinting really.
But regarding a train, it`s no surprise really. 6 stronger sprinters and about 10 equally ones and hence Itami not counting as potential leadout given sprinter.
Unfortunately the strength of the potential train does not count very often. |

This isn't very Avelino-like behaviour. I wonder what was going through is virtual mind... 14th is a bummer, but luckily he still hold onto his 4th place.
Fingers crossed that the final stage will be the time he reaches the podium.
Congratulations Valio!

Well, not much we can do about this. Van Asbroeck doesn't have the pure speed others have. Too bad we don't set up a train though, feels like Pelucchi's race days are totaly wasted here.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

One stage left and a top 10 for both doesn't seem impossible at this point! It's going to be interesting to see whether it is Ahlstrand or Lo Cicero take this, congrats Atlantius!

Finally the first win of the season by Franzoi in the prologue. He did exactly what I hoped he'd do when sending him here. Also Nepomnyachsniy and Oba with a top 10 there give us the lead in the teams classification. It only sucks a litte that Nepo is not bothering about the sprints after giving himself a good position in the prologue. I hope someone from my team will join the breakaway for the last stage, usually in the last flat stage the breakaway gets through. Thanks for the reports roturn. |

We're still decent in the GC. However, I'm fearing the final stage more and more now, as those bonis might kick Vermote out of the top-10. Hopefully we can at least hang on to that little success.

Would be lovely if its Ahlstrands turn to win over Lo Cicero at the last stage
And take the GC + Pts jersey, but we have a top 5 goal here and that should work out well
But congrats Valio for that stage win. |

Yeah, I guess thats true. Still nothing from him again, which is frustrating. I know he's not the strongest here, but just looking at the main stats on the other sprinters here, he has the highest ACC of all other 80 sprinters and equal or greater flat stat than all other 80 sprinters as well, so he should be contesting Top 10s, but isn't.

Keeping the podium by 1 second, this race may have secured us our PCT spot!
Thanks a lot for the reports.

Well it's over and I can't help feel that Avelino didn't quite reach his potential here. However with three 4 places and 6th overall it's not the end of the world really.
Lo Cicero always the dominant figure in these races, which is becoming mildly annoying Congratulations, nonetheless! Ahlstrand's absence from the final sprint is something very unfortunate too, it would have made things much more interesting.
Incredible pace you've managed to set here, roturn, thanks for that and kudos!

Wel, nothing in this race for us as expected really. Atleast we joined a break in the end though, thats always good to see.
Congratz to Valio/ Lo Cicero again and thanks to roturn for the quality work again!

10th and 11th just as I'd have hoped, August is not as bad as it looked as it turns out
Lo Cicero is incredible this season! Congrats Atlantius and thanks for the top quality reports to roturn. Good stuff for both viking and Ollfardh too!

But still a good race pts wise for us with 2nd GC and pts jersey, but as always had hoped for more
Lo Cicero is really strong this season. Congrats atlantius!
I just cant get in my head why Spotify don´t creat a train, one of the best sprinters and by my opinion way stronger leadout riders then Valio who almost every race create a train with mostly good result.
New tactic next season, it´s not any idea too pay 105/110 for leadout riders who barely do leadout.
thanks for the reports! |

I feel the same, although my sprinters aren't as strong.
Atleast Itami made it into the Top 10 this time, although still pretty much a lost race for us!

Zero points for Tinkoff I guess, but it was a fun race to follow nonetheless.
