Cool to see Hiski Kanerva take a 6th place in his 4th day as a pro cyclist

Maccagli's third on the stage should break our duck and make sure we avoid the dreaded 0 pointer race.
I still don't know what I was thinking when I chose not to send Zoidl here but at least we will still come away with something.
Hopefully Forcellini will be able to gain a few extra places in GC as with him sitting 24th there should be a chance for him to move up a few spots at least if he races aggressively as 15th is only 31 seconds away.

The one time we actually win a sprint...
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Schuter, you stupid idiot, why drop into the pack and sprint to 11th?
Surely if you'd have followed or made a move from the break with 5kn to go you'd have easily won that stage. What were you thinking?
Anyway Maccagli's stage result from the previous day's break should mean we narrowly avoid dreaded the 0 pointer so considering the squad I sent and the fail of not sending Zoidl I can be happy with that.

Good stage result, disappointing GC. Overall this race hasn't been the best for us. Thanks matt for the reports

Weird that De Maar was nowhere in the final. It really seemed like his type of stage. Steensen clearly had good legs too, but not good enough for a gap.
Nevertheless, I'll consider this race a success. Steensen on the podium, De Maar 6th, Mygind 10th and Bochman 12th should all add some points to our total. The race was a little less selective than I had imagined, but I'll take it.
Not sure where that leaves us standings wise, but we have a few important races coming up, so it will be interesting to see it pan out.

Diggle eleventh on GC not good enough whilst 2nd in two stages, KoM and points is just too typical of our team this season.

well, I can't complain about the GC...but I can complain about the shitty performances by Mazgec and Bole...
Good job Tennant and Kasa though, the optimum achieved

I didnt wrote anything until now, i hoped thats avoid the bad luck, but that doesnt happen ... when a stage where our leader are clearly favorite, our team doesnt work to make that happen, thats a fail ... |

Stage win for Nelson, Stage Podium for Yates and a not bad GC placing in a TT dominated race. Yeah i can take those points and feel ok about them. Not outstanding, but we can't always be top dog and i'm more than happy to be contesting at all in stage races and on hills.

Not had chance to comment on this on a daily basis, so apologies for that!
A very quiet race on our behalf, with only the early stages showing some positive signs. No hills team mean no GC hope, but it was good for Thaouta to be in the break, Kreiger getting his usual Top 10 and Tzortzakis with a solid TT for a nice result.
Thanks for all the reports Matt

Good start to this race for Navardauskas. Really doing what I envisioned for him but unfortunately he fell. Lost some points there but won't complain cause Bazzana made up for it in the end.
Thanks for the reports Matt, sorry I read them so late.
