No-one wants to argue for Berhane's Top15 at the Worlds? Or Ait el Abdi's Top25 at the same race?

Can't believe the two best rides of this year have been ignored, Laporte crushing Sagan on Ventoux and Ait El Abdia in the WC a close second, no other ride can compare.
GVA's performance was one I omitted, along with Contador/Quintana, Hayman or Boonen, Wellens in Poland, Nibali in Risoul and Sagan in Flanders you can argue for all of those. And I have probably forgotten some.
If I were to pick one, I'd say Nibali, just because of the epicness of the Giro and the high mountains.
GVA rode an epic ORR, not only physically but also from the mental and tactical side. Going into the midway break was genius really. But he wouldn't have won if it wasn't for the Nibali crash. In fact I think Nibali's imaginary ride to gold medal (if he hadn't crashed that is) would outrank Nibali's impressive, classy Giro comeback.

Nibali rode a great race there, splitting the group on downhill catching up to the front group before attacking in Vista Chinesa where only Henao and Majka stayed with him. But then he crashed in the descent
But he had to take that risk in the descent because Henao was the better sprinter. There was also the chances of the chase group coming back. Nibali took a risk and lost unfortunately.
Even if Nibali would have been the better sprinter against Henao, he still would have attacked. Nibs said he wanted to win solo the gold medal. What a champ, still sad it didn't work out for him but GVA winning gold was my other favourite scenario.

Nibali is a champ indeed.
That was a great ride by GVA.I mean attacking from very far out, doing your best to hang on,then going on the final for the gold. What a win it was.And Majka didn't win so another plus
The new Cannondale jersey is atrocious. Oh how the the mighty have fallen. Every Garmin jersey used to be stellar, but this is just disgusting. The black on the back doesn't look like its even positioned right.
I hate POC helmets and it turns out I hate their jerseys too. Super sad Castelli jumped ship, they made some amazing jerseys over the year.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Some minor news from elections in some small country across the ocean which nobody really cares about.
What we instead all really care about is that there is likely going to be this new great fantastic awesome race in October 2017 for the WT, the Tour of Guangxi, which will be an equally great race to the Tour of Beijing.
Also, unsurprisingly, 18 WT teams confirmed for next year.
