The local loops are boring, any action will have to be in the desert.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Halvorsen wins. Ackermann 2nd and Mareczko 3rd.
Schachmann looked like a men among boys the last 5 kms.

That race was literally 10 metres too long. Norway deserves it tho for their massive work.
If the german train had attempted to allow Bauhaus to catch their wheel (he dangled in 10th position for most of the last 5k), he would've been in Halvorsen's place and that would've been gold for us.
Assuming the rest of the prep would've gone the same way then.

Enzo Wouters transfered to the hospital after the U23 race because of the heat. Jasper Philipsen had the same after the junior TT, the doctor now forbids him to start in the road race.
Someone will probably drop dead on sunday..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

In all fairness, I actually don't think Im that bad in that aspect, Avin. I mean, its not some random names getting thrown out there and Gaviria is THE REAL DEAL.
Finally someone to root for in the sprints now. That will probably make them a little more interesting.
And how about a Daily meet up at Flanders?! |

Btw, how was the race today? Looking at the results, there didn't seem to be any wind. I suppose rather boring...?! |

Fernando Gaviria RENDON is the answer.
Shonak, can you make a similar Gaviria avatar? I wan't to be some of the original supporter of his instead of a simple bandwagoner before he wins.
certainly a lesser of two evils

Good bait, ringo, but apparently you still haven't got it. Surprising. Or not.
I don't think pure sprinters are proper cyclists, no. I don't enjoy them and can't support riders who sit in the bunch all day before sticking their nose in the wind the last 200 metres day and and day out. Credit to Kittel tho to win the TTT this year and credit to Cavendish to win MSR in 2009.
But Gaviria is anything but a pure sprinter. He is in the mold of Sagan and Boonen (some of the most talented and impressive cyclists over the last 15 years), kinda of a cross. A hard man who animates races (I suppose you haven't paid attention to Gaviria autumn campaign, going in the break in nearly every one day races), highly talented and rides on instinctive. Now thats something that I enjoy watching and therefore support him. |
