No reason to join the breakaway when my 1st and 2nd sprinter have abandoned the race and we have nothing to go for... Why bother?
Incredible stuff that we have gone by for 14 days without a single attack, looking at how our team is/was put together. It was made for the first week sprints and attacks on various terrains. Oh well, hopefully the Tour and Vuelta will be better. We are likely to come out of this race as one of the 5 worst ever Grand Tour performances. (Points wise AND race wise).
Congrats to whoever won from that breakaway we didn't want to be involved in.
Can you just try to be at least a little polite?
Kruijswijk down worries me. I'd be worried about Keukeleire too, but he wasn't doing too much this race anyway. Still, getting through this stage with our GC positions intact was always the goal, and we have done that. Also congrats to roturn! Always happy to see your team win.

Looking forward to the third week of this Giro, I somehow have a good feeling about it!

It was an attempt to make a joke. But I obviously need to use a shitload of smileys whenever I try, because at some point people will be butthurt.

Shame Sergent couldn't get away in the final stages of stage 14. Good to see us active in the breaks though.
Happy to see Kwiatkowski remaining strong as well. A top 10 would be an admirable result. Our season could be looking a lot different if he hadn't crashed at Tirreno, such a great rider for his stats and wage. |

Second stage win! And back into the lead of the team rankings too
Majka seems to love riding in Italy. Two stage wins in two years.

Good attempt by Heider who joined the right break, but sadly the result doesn't give us too many points in the end. But only if you try, you're allowed to fail!
Again absolutely no selection between the GC guys here which is really starting to become an issue, how can Barguil or Kruijswijk go faster or as fast as Nerz here.

Good effort from Juul-Jensen. Really liking his aggressive style here. His mountain stat is certainly not top notch, but he's fighting really well.
Last flat sprint stage tomorrow. We have had two breakaway wins in a row now, so hopefully it will be a bunch sprint and another chance for Guarnieri.

Pluchkin happy? He maybe is, but his manager is not at all, watching a most boring GC race ever since stage 5 finished. Going hard in one stage and then just cruising there around 10th place is not good, that is bad, you dont need 85 climber to see him being good in two stages...we want stage points, we have a team for that and leader for that...or he has -daily form every day?
Thanks for the report though!

Madrazo was strong today. Good to see him attack and gain time on his opponents.
This should have been a stage-win, but sadly we didn't chase the break. Wasted opportunity.

Dyrnes you beauty! Amazing climbing against some much better climbers, at least on paper. Brilliant fighting spirit, and suddenly we have a realistic shot at the teams classification. We will need Guldhammer to step up slightly though and follow Henao in the mountains for that, I suspect, and right now I'm more worried about Denifl behind him than looking to climb in the GC. But hopefully his hiding on the last couple of mountain stages just means he's saving energy, instead of having burnt himself out, which I kind of fear.
Congratulations alexkr00! Always nice to see your team win, eventhough it would have been amazing to see Dyrnes get it as well Hopefully we can have a round two in a breakaway fight
Thank you for the report, sgdanny! You really are making the most of it eventhough the GC favourites are somewhat disappointing and saving their attacks. Hopefully they come out fighting after the upcoming sprint stage. |

Although riding on wheelchair, Keinath made a desperate try. It´s a pity he hasn´t recovered yet, he could easily take this stage.
Majka is definitely one of my less favourite riders, but still, congrats to Alex.

But this isn't Rafal Majka. It's his evil brother, Rafel.

Not only does Dall'Oste get extra mountain points, but we also set up a sprint train? Pure madness
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
