If Izaggire goes as domestique for Nibali in the Giro, that's a pretty good signing. This Intsausti guy doesn't look like much, but then again he is only 23 years of age. |

Top signing for Bahrain, Izagirre is a bank for smaller wt stage races & a formidable stage hunter, man capable of winning and as seen, even beating the Nibs himself.

100% agreed, one of the most overlooked top class 1-week-racers.
Sadly a big loss for Movistar, but at the same time there is a lot more space now for Ruben Fernandez in these races which is great.
With Nibali, Izagirre and Navardauskas Bahrain now signed 3 really likeable riders, I don't like the team but the riders in there are appealing!

Exactly how I feel about them. Not a fan of the prince, but with them having a couple of my favourite riders on the team I'll have to cheer for them occasionally. Much like Astana currently really so won't change much for me on the bottomline

not really. Izagirre is very unreliable in 3 week racing. Quite sure they signed him to be a leader in one-week and one day races

Btw, I wonder where Frantisek Sisr goes after the Klein Constantia disband. Looking at demographies of the teams I'd say Bora, but also Giant and ambitious CT teams could be a place to go.
Frankiny to the BMC main team is confirmed, he doesn't look like the biggest of talents but will be a very solid climber I guess. Aiming into the direction of Matthias Frank in his prime in my opinion.

Klein Constantia is Etixx's developmental team so I wouldn't be surprised if he joins the Belgo-Czech squad.
If this team disbands then what would be the future for Etixx-Quick Step then?

They'll keep it with a lot of scouting, but they don't want a DEV team due to the changes in the structure of the UCI. I don't fully understand that, but I guess it's just Lefevre things...
It was announced that Cavagna, Schachmann and Mas will be the guys of KC going to Etixx next season. Garcia Cortina is already confirmed for another team (can't remember which), so Sisr is the best of the guys left.

Garcia Cortina will join Bahrain Merida

Nibali has 2 very reliable domestiques in Siutsou and Visconti, and we know he feels more comfortable with "weaker" co-leaders. He's a Kangert/Fuglsang away from a good GT support, and I guess one in these class will come.
.
He was after Kangert. But Astana also figured it out..and made early season 2 year deal with him. |

Bahrain is trying to poach every availlable name from the World Teams to guarantee WT license
I personally think they were already guaranteed a WT licsence as the UCI wants Bahrain and the money that comes with it, the UCI will either dump Di Data or change their mind and run with 18 WT teams next season instead of the planned 17.
Anton also rumoured to join Bahrain as well (he has the same agent as Izagirre) which will be final nail in the WT coffin for DDD

Also maybe Jesus Herrada to have a breakthrough season next year, the guy has a kick like Balaverde.

Does Anton even have a single WT point?

Can't blame Anton for looking elsewhere - he struggled in the team, which was supporting Cavendish more.

I've not looked, but it could easily be a misread tweet from cyclingnews. They seemed to indicate that Anton has 250pts so far this season, but looks like they were referring to Izagirre.

DiData already got their license couple weeks ago when they gave Oli Cookson a job

Honestly don't think that this sentimental relationship would help them if Cookson wants the reforms to go ahead.

Dimension Data doesn't stand a chance against Bora and Bahrain. Bora has Sagan - the cash cow for UCI at the moment. Bahrain on the other hand have Giro winner Nibali. And what do DDD have? Only Cavendish is not enough and Doug Ryder's stubborness will be a suicidal for the team as he stated that he "won't go points shopping"
