Betonxpressz GP
One for the sprinters, but with quite a lot of ups and downs along the way (1704 m of climbing in total) it could prove challenging for some of the heavier ones such as Thorsen, Kip and Drapac.
With many teams bringing strong line-up it's hard to imagine anything else than a sprint.
Podium Ambition, TVM - Beslist.nl and Xero Racing p/b Octagon all have multiple options for a great result, though a 6-man team could prove a problem for the latter.
MOL - OMV Petrom have some amazing depth, though lacking the very top favourite.
Of the top favourites Stauff could very well prove the one with the strongest teaam behind him having plenty of teammates capable of controlling the race.

This race will be a protocol one for Vivacom as this race is not part of the goals

Come on Krieger - need him and Drijon to click perfectly in the lead-out for the win. Thanks for the preview

Time for Drapac to show the form he had in the pre-season crits.

Of all races CTs best sprinter on paper is skipping this one?
Going for a "wildcard" win here.

Gonna go for a breakaway here...
Big chance for Nelson to step it up with the full support of Soupe, Ewan and Thomas at his desposal. Wolverine to carry water. Nardin and Julian and Bridges as wildcards (well that's my thought, the AI won't get it though). We need sprinting to back-up our Cobbles so lets bag a big result

Hope Docker does well as the hills will help him a bit.

Hope Scully sprints here, I expect a break win (Novardianto) though but this is made for him with better hills than many. Clarke as leader fills me with suicidal thoughts.

All those one dimensional ct sprinters here wew, gotta go for Stauff who seemed pretty awesome at Bayern for this one though if an actually quite likely break doesn't pull it off Nelson for 2nd in case we get a much wanted sprint though.

Season debut for Jones, although he is quite far down the pecking order on the CT sprint ladder. Hoping for a presence in the breakaway, and if things come together, perhaps Bush to go for a long one from 5-10km out?? Jones likely to have to make his own way if sprint preparation is required.
Not the flatest sprinters race, so think this favours the likes of Scully and Docker.

Lol I wish. Scully will come 28th, mark my words. Clarke 11th.

Our first bad race of the season, and this one was calculated. We just needed it to make sure our talents gained enough experience. Athanasiades good as always though

Two Aussies podium the race and Brenton Jones at least in the mix. Nice race from my point of view!

The race went better than expected for us - solid run in breakaway for Petrache and Top 20 for Zaraliev. An ideal rehersal for the riders that will be entered in Tour of Bulgaria
