Taking the Yates gamble here aswell with some few young guns who probably wont score at all.

That was pretty much my technique with the low cost riders, hoping that Sky would win and hold good GC positions for the first 5-6 days.

I'm back at work
The league table has been updated to include the Volta a Portugal results. It looks as though Ian has an unassailable 75 point lead. 50 points to play for in the Vuelta. Not sure if there will be any further races after that. |

Looking great so far. Time for Bakelants, Brambilla and the GC favorites to shine today.

Sad about Lopez, happy about the 4-pointer Fernandez. Nice gut feeling there.

Think everybody had Lopez, so not overly disappointed about the loss. Do have Geniez though, which somewhat makes up for replacing Meersman so I could afford Kruijswick at the last minute.

I'm not 100% sure but I think we will still have Eneco Tour and Tour of Britain as remaining ones. |

Woohoo! Fernandez has taken me into the top 200
It won't last, but a much better start than I could have hoped for. Dodged a bullet by not picking Barguil too

4 stages in and Ian is top of the league. I think we'll have to ban him next season as he seems to be dominating in a Froome like manner.
Somehow I'm in the top 10 so I'm quite pleased/surprised. Now the usual slide down the table will start. |
