Great race for us. Double Top 10, good fighting by Iturria, a stage win and Team classification

Poorseydi continues to flatter to decieve, as Alwai bows out after almost securing Stage 6, and our sprinter harries his way into the break for the second mountain stage running. The last rider was 2 hours 17 minutes down- today.
It's been flippin' difficult, and pretty strange.

At least it's very pleasing to see my guys in the break. Doesn't look like we'll bring home any points but gives us some decent XP and thats also important. Godoy and Herrera has been okay in their debut pro season.
Thank you for all the reports so far TR! |

Disappointing that Garby didn't have anything after the team was able to control the race all day and did terrific work. Our goal is the top 5 and we're still in line for that and white, so I can't be mad. Congrats to Ste!
Sad to see Razzie abandon but Docker was certainly climbing well.

Shame Salleh is out due to the crash. I'm not sure he would have managed to make it within the time limit regardless but after his crash he didn't stand a chance. On the bright side Zoidl had a really good day in the mountains today and I'll be interested to see what kind of TT he can put in, especially now he's got a nice GC position to fight for.
I still think it's a shame that Garby is youth jersey eligible, at this level that' just cheating and he's stealing a nice source of points away from Kung, just got to hope they don't clash too often as I was hoping for a few youth jersey's this year.
It will be interesting if Awang can now translate that massive speed into a stage win on the final stage as he seems to have had the speed whilst trying to be a leadout in the rest of the race so it will be interesting to see if he can time it right to go for the win instead now.

That's a pretty unfair statement. That's part of a rider's value and there's plenty of much better riders than Garby who were maxed years before 25.

Looks pretty safe for Delacruz now, great race for him.
Worst stage for Garby to crack on probably, but already saw by the way he countered that first attack he would struggle. Always a bad sign when a rider sprints like that.
Glad to see my old rider Antón doing somewhat better, although he is having a pretty dissapointing race together with Tvetcov. Really minimal difference in key stats between them and Garby/Delacruz.
Looking forward to the last mountain stage, lets see who has it.

There go Garby chances I'm afraid in a stage where he should have gapped DLC with a minute or more he loses more than 20" instead. Not looking good as he's also behind in the GC as well. Top notch reporting. Gratz jandal, you certainly asked for some good performing.

take it in a similar way to how PT managers moan about Bewley or Trofimov.
Garby just feels untouchable compared to other Youth Jersey contenders which is annoying when you didn't realise he was that young as the DB says he is 25 and were expecting to be in a close fight for that instead of focussing on a top 10 GC which isn't as fun as fighting for a jersey.
He is such a nice rider to have as he has a really easy way of getting virtually guaranteed points on top of potential GC wins or podiums. Other riders his age and strength are always in the PCT or PT so he does seem OP compared to other Youth Jersey contenders at CT level.

Congratulations to jandal and big thanks to The Rider for these great reports and incredible pace.
Don't know where Hacecký is finding this form, I was fully expecting him to loose minutes on this stage.

Then other managers should have paid more than me to get him I signed him 2 years ago. I got him on the open market. There's nothing "cheating" or "stealing" about it. To say so is kind of sour grapes. It says he's 25 in the DB, it shouldn't be that hard to realize.
When I signed him it looked like he would end up dominating the Continental Tour when he maxed. Many better climbers were signed this season to make that not the case. That doesn't mean it's unfair in any way and I'm not mad about it. We all have complete control over our cap and roster on an open market. Nothing unfair about it. It's one thing to complain about AI but to complain that a rider has better stats than yours is just silly and a bit of a sore loser attitude.
