Nice stats, roturn
Doesn't exactly give me any hopes for Schreurs, but if the MO stat is favoured, Cattaneo may be able to something that's slightly better (although his HI stat is bad).
We'll see. No expectations, but looking very much forward to the first race of the season. |

It's hard to ask for a repeat performance of what happened last year, but I'm going to anyway. Come on TVG take the podium!
Let the season begin!!!

It's nice to have riders on the startlist for all 3 races on the opening day. Hopefully my loaned out riders can support their leaders well here or maybe get into the break so they can help later than they might otherwise be able to.

Very excited for our first PT race ever, not expecting much with Van Der Hugenhaben but hoping for the best
also i think with the long climbs Tomfimov might take it, but EBH is looking absurdly strong with that 85 hill |

Let's see if Boswell is an improvement on Vanendert.
Gerts to win from a breakaway.

Gerts to win from a breakaway. Why no Gesink? This would have suited him with MO stat playing a role as well. |

Not enough race days. He's only riding Paris - Nice, Pais Vasco, California and Vuelta this year.
Plus, he tends to underperform in hills even more than in mountains and time - trials.

Vuelta you say, will be fun.
Pluchkin, Tenorio, Machado, Gesink, Madrazo (?), Phinney (?)
Some of us will be very disapointed...

Gesink finished third last year in a less hillier route and with only 82 mountain. Even if both Madrazo and Phinney are coming as well, I think he's still in contention for the podium

Should be a great season opener. Admittedly I'm kind of nervous for the outcome, as I fear/hope it gives away a lot about the hilly races to come after this, all depending on EBH and if he does well or bad
A podium must be the goal, as there is no place to hide from the pressure of being the favourite, but we shall see. At least we should do better than last year, where Hoelgaard was our best finisher, as EBH finished 15th or so. Fingers crossed!
Thank you for the preview, roro/roturn, the hill stat and history makes it something to look at for quite some time |

Top 10 for Sagan would be a decent start for us.

I'm mostly curious to just see how Claeys does. The difficulty of the course won't really suit him but I'm hopeful of maybe getting a top 10.
Trofimov is the favourite for me, as he always is.

Now that is a shocker for me, but i aint complaining, one opponent less.
So where is roro?
I want my top100.

Shame none of our guys could join the break or something but I guess it was a quiet race and I'm happy with a top 25.
Thanks for the great report Roro/Roturn!

Terrible gameplay, whole Puma without leader in front of the pack and our best guy sitting at 88th or something. Some favourites even have not cared, anticlimatic...
Congrats to DD though, i guess Gazelle powers just keep on rolling.
Thanks for the report!

Fun race to start the PT season, congrats to dekker. Very surprising to see such a poor result from Trofimov, it must have been the daily form.
