Nobody in the peloton every seems to want a stage win. Every fricking time they just let the breakaway ride away. I have no problem with breakaway wins but every time the peloton doesn't even put up a fight on such a big stage it really bothers me.

I agree, this has been particularly noticeable in this Tour where the peloton (or rather Sky who basically have dictated what the peloton's doing the entire race) has given up on chasing the stage win on all three of the HC summit finishes, which would usually be the most prestigious stages to win.

I guess It's what happens when you have a dominant team like Sky, it's a pity but I can also understand why it's happening

I dont see nothing strange in it. Those who think that can win are in the break and in the peloton are only leaders, their helpers and those who does not stand a chance and know it. 
But i agree it was not like that always...
