NO. There is no base for that in the rules. It was already scandalous when they did it there.
I´m with Spilak here, crashes, also due to spectators are part of the game...you can´t set time back for that, as you don´t know how the last kilometers would´ve went what happened ( Froome was NOT the strongest of the trio on the front pretty surely!). If he´ll get the same time as Mollema I´ll riot.
Everyone also was like: "Attack Nairo, Froome is weak today."
Froome always looks like he's almost dead. I wouldn't underestimate him.

But this is some out of order type of shit though. Plus... it's Tour de France, whether you think it's fair or not fair that it's treated differently is another case. |

This. Flecha can attest. They didn't change the result when a car took him out.

Another discussion is, shouldn't Froome stand still and wait for his bike, instead of running up the climb?
If he ran with his bike over his shoulder or whatever then no issues but ditching the bike and duck running up the climb is where the problem is

Please, don't make this another motorbikes are dangerous thing. It was the fans fault there. Even if the moto wouldn't be, the riders would still crash. Not as bad, but they would still be help up.

Well I think putting him on that kids bike evens that out |

Porte is incredibly unlucky, loses 1'40 with a puncture earlier and now this puts him further back , at least we got to see that he is racing very strongly this year as well Mollema.
Honestly fair enough for Froome after his stupid nature break.

Now in the stir of the moment I missed how far was left. Less than 3km. Shouldn't it be neutralized then, as in sprint stages ?
Taking the time at the crash or something ??
The other day the kite crashed and they neutralized it at that 1 km left ....

Huge scandal! And I threw 1000 kr on Froome yesterday!
But do not worry he wins the Tour anyway, if there are no more stupid motorbikes! |
