I think the problem in this instance was all the fans that were going to be lining Mont Ventoux today being condensed 6 km without much thought.

ITS NOT THE MOTOS PROBLEM JESUS PEOPLE
They shortened the stage and shiton of people came down the slopes. It's Tour fualt for no dealing with overcrowding in the climb segment.
fuck off. You would like to see riders at 80km/h wind.
This is your solution?!
Where did you get that from? A fan fell over and moto had to break.

They have to neutralize this at teh point of the crash, can't have a camera bike crash decide the tour
Froome should not have dumped his bike, no matter the situation you can't proceed forward without a bike. If he had kept running with his bike then I have no issues with neutralizing the gaps.
Anyway the race doesn't mind making up the rules on the run so I doubt he will get penalized for it

okay is it time now to get rid of these idiotic tv motos. you can do the same job with drones now at significantly less cost, and danger to the riders.
I know it isn't entirely the TV motos fault, but still it is a problem.
As dangerous.
How so, you can keep the drones set to fly 12ft (about) over the race where they are in no danger, just like the bikes you have a pilot and a cameraman but instead they are in either a chase car some distance ahead or behind the groups.

And for one day Sagan didn't steal the show.
Or has he finished already? Can he still top this? Sagan to unicycle up the Ventoux! |

We are so far to make and operate drones properly. We just made first normal phone. |

Yep I said at the start of the climb that to many people were on the side of the road so this isn't a surprise is it? Moto rider most likely had nowhere to go

Should set the time gaps for GC when accident happened like on stage 7.
NO. There is no base for that in the rules. It was already scandalous when they did it there.
I´m with Spilak here, crashes, also due to spectators are part of the game...you can´t set time back for that, as you don´t know how the last kilometers would´ve went what happened (Froome was NOT the strongest of the trio on the front pretty surely!). If he´ll get the same time as Mollema I´ll riot.

I'm pretty certain I'll wake up tomorrow morning wondering if all of this was just a dream.
It is. It's the bit where the implausaible, De Gendt winning, becomes silly, Mollema attacking (again), then turns into the bit where you know it's a dream for certain, Froome running up Ventoux...in my dream he's about to go for a swim now like some back to front Triathlon...

It's not the motorcycle, but surely a much smaller scooter could get passed all those fucking psyckos.
Then this culture fo running wild on mountain stages must be handled by organizers.
Look at the total mad person with polish flag and a sign. He doesn't even see the greatest scandal just beside him. Just running wild.
Fucking execute him !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I feel ashamed to see such a stupid fan from Poland...
Also to many f**king fans (and to close to the riders), not so many officers. |

Another discussion is, shouldn't Froome stand still and wait for his bike, instead of running up the climb?

Froome can´t be treated on another way then any other guy is treated (despite that I fear that the Tour-Organization will do that)
