Despite that i don't cheer on Froome. I have to tip give him respect, maybe he is doing it because he isn't as confident in the mountains anymore, to me that doesn't matter, he takes chances on downhills and cross wind, and he invest 100% in it.

You can onlyt respect that

This!

Maybe not the most tactical, but very ballsy.

Pure cycling.

Great to see Sagan as truly grateful for team mate..

Kudos to Froome for starting to break this "Sky is boring mold", but still, just like with that attack on descent, is this energy wasted is really worth it for those marginal gains? Or is Froome just that afraid of Quintana putting time on him in 3rd week that he has to take every chance on creating as big of a gap as possible during 2nd week?

Sagan owning Green and totally, deservedly so.

Badly timed mechanical for Cav but wouldv'e been sprinting for 4th anyway.

Last flat stage where green led in yellow? Pfft

Maybe he's just trying to throw the other teams of there game, doing things that aren't expected to make them second guess themselves. Or yeah he just isn't as confident that he can hold off Quintana in the 3rd week

Of course it is me. With attitude like that this forum will soon shrink to 10 members. Then you will all be happy.

All this show to me Froome has a weak character. All the media calling him boring is getting to him.

What character? Pfft

He say's what he thinks people want to hear, nothing sincere about any of it but still the race has been made more exciting for it Grin

Laporte > Sagan

Laporte letting Sagan waste all his energy so Laporte can trump him on Ventoux and all future stages, smart racing.

Froome certainly making this race interesting, I can understand his thought with jumping on Sagan's wheel but tactically it was terrible - he got 12 seconds - and now I wouldn't be surprised if he loses a minute to Quintana on Ventoux, if he does succeed on Ventoux though, then Chapeau to him.

Also Sagan's face when Froome started began sprinting past him.

Very unexpectable results... Bodnar made great work for Sagan, it's another third place for Polish rider at this year TdF Smile

Wow,
that was indeed impressive performance by PS and Froome.
Nobody can't say that this is the great riders of our time. Froome has in a week shown flat, downhill, climbing and we still have a ITT to see what he can do.

If you hate or love any or both of these riders... Who cares, they are still impressive.
Lots of folks "hates" any athlete or team that have great success, perhaps jealous have something to do with it.
