The first breakaway group is caught ! The fallen riders are back in the pack, while Naesen and Ladagnous create a gap.



Ladagnous and Naesen are the breakaway of the day ! They have a 4'20'' advantage at 200 km from the Velodrome.



The leaders of the race take a 8 minutes gap, coming in Troisvilles, the first paved sector of Paris-Roubaix this year. 150 km left.



The peloton stretches over the cobblestones, and a group of riders lose focus and fall : Capiot, Van Lerberghe and Hofstetter are on the ground. Pearson, Dougall and De Vries are dropped of the pack.



Falls pursue, now 11 riders hit the deck. The breakaway starts to lose time, they have 6'30'' at 115 km from the finish. The peloton have 122 riders left.

The Trouée d'Aremberg doesn't cause any big problems to the breakaway or the peloton neither, even if it's losing riders a bit (105 left). 95 km, 5'.

On the same sector, flat tire for Démare ! His teammates Puccio and Gaudin are slowing down to help him.



Mons-en-Pévèle's cobblestones don't help Démare. He passes Boasson Hagen and Petit, Gougeard, Elmiger, Van Keirsbulck , Van Hoecke, Moscon and Venturini.



The breakaway has been caught, but no reprieve for the peloton as Tiesj Benoot decides to attack ! 40 kilometers left.



The young belgian is caught by the favourites group (29 riders) in Cysoing, as he's overtook by 3 giants of the cobblestones :

Tiesj Benoot attacks again on Carrefour de l'Arbre, but anybody wants to relay behind.



On Gruson, Tiesj Benoot built up a 45 seconds gap. Will it be enough at 15 kilometers of Roubaix ? Meanwhile, Boom came back on the chasing group.



Benoot didn't lose any time on Hem's sector, he only has 7 kilometers to fight until the finish line !



We can see the chasing group as Benoot enters the Velodrome, but they still have 40 seconds to bridge.



The bell rings on the Velodrome ! Lars Boom is exhausted, he won't finish better than 9th today.



Cancellara and Stybar are anticipating the sprint to close the gap !



The sprint is launched in the chasing group, while Benoot haven't made his stroke ! He shouldn't celebrate too soon.



That's a incredible win for Tiesj Benoot in Roubaix ! He resisted to the stunning come back of his rivals to take his first monument ever.



Zdenek Stybar sprinted from too far, he's passed by John Degenkolb for second place. Disappointing Peter Sagan in 6th position.

136 guys finished the Hell of the North today, the others arrived too late to be in the classification. Marc Fournier and Ottavio Dotti retired earlier in the race.
