Well, what a shitty finale to a great GT. Nibali did a huge ride, but I still don't like riders from teams, who are not fearing to somehow massively "improve" their performances mid-race.
Well, Nibali has won. I would say, that he deserved it, due to the last 2 stages, but his performance boost looks waaaay to suspicious to me.

Remember Nibali won 2 GT with a bit of luck. TDF 2014 with Conti and Froome, then some, crashed out and now almost the same story.
But you need luck to win a GT...... and a little bit extra

Wow. Nibali with the comeback of the year. Amazing stuff from him.
Also, I've always known De Gendt was a far superior GC rider over Kruijswijk. De Gendt made the podium like a boss, Kruijswijk couldn't even do that
Spoiler Yes, the above is so very obviously a joke, but some people here seem immune to sarcasm so don't take this serious, or you'll embarrass yourself |

Even if he get caught (heaven forbids) on a later stage.
Astana and Katusha will be under the watchful eyes for some time. A small slip-up and they get caught.
Remember that more then 1 rider has already been DQ already.
You do realise that it's 99% certain that ALL the guys in the top half of the GC are on some type of doping program right? So if you want to doubt Nibali then doubt Chaves, Valverde hell even Pirazzi

Yes, they rode faster, they are cheating dopers... lol
Nice to see Zakarin being remember on the victory salute.
Also I think Nibbles was giving Chaves' parents a handshake - class gesture from him.

Phenomenal ending to a phenomenal Giro. Nibali really earned this one I think after being down and almost out of the conversation.
Great tactical stage win by Taaraamae. Obviously, I wanted Dombro to win, but I'm very happy with a podium place for him. He's showed some real ability and great recovery in this Giro that didn't know he had. Hopefully he will be given a free role from the beginning and maybe even leadership of some WT races henceforth.

He peaked for the 3rd week and the guy who was leading by 3 minutes crashed, doesn't look more suspicious than any other GT winner

The only likable thing about Astana is Scarponi. |
