Missed yesterday's stage, and to compound the misery, the only video of it I could find was in non-adjustable HD which my internet can't handle Sounds like it was a great stage, and just goes to show the importance of descending as a skill, something the Giro usually tests better than the Tour, and most definitely more than the Vuelta.
Today should be a cracking stage; personally I'd like to see Valverde shedding his usual caution and going all-out for the win, being less than 2 minutes behind he might as well put in a long-range attack on the Bonette, say, in the hope of it succeeding, and if it doesn't, then the worst case scenario for him is probably finishing 4th overall (assuming Kruijswijk doesn't make a miraculous recovery to not only start the stage but finish up there with the rest of the contenders)
I'm cheering Chaves on for the victory, would be amazing if he could do it, but on a stage like today's 44 seconds is a tiny gap to Nibbles, and if Nibbles is in yesterday's form that could disappear incredibly quickly.
It might be rather optimistic to hope for attacks on the Bonette, but at the very least we should have a very select group at the foot of the Lombarda, and several attacks on the way up (and being a climb where the steepest portions are in the first third or so, it's better to attack at the start). Definitely worth watching right from km0 if possible though.

Lol. He's been dropped every stage. He hasn't once impressed. He's been the Haimar Zubeldia of this Giro. If Majka wins the GC I'll wear a Majka avatar for the rest of 2016 |

Rai has live coverage of the whole stage at https://raisport1.web.tv/ if you want to watch the whole stage start to finish.

Yeah you are right,he isn't nearly as good as he was at last year's vuelta... But I think he has some extra kick left in his legs. |

Seems that the rumors about Kruijswijks broken foot are at least partly true, his DS said that he can barely walk because of a pain in his left foot. |

The only situation he can win this is if he goes early and the other favourites watching each other for too long. Very unlikely.
But I told the skype group this would happen and now am invested in him winning (while still supporting Chaves )

Kangert, Atapuma, Dombrowski, Brambilla, Foliforov, Denifl, Visconti & Nieve the riders up front at the moment - strong climbers in there and Cunego has been failing miserably trying to bridge - with a gap of a minute back to the "peloton" which must be 50 riders max
