Not sure how to feel, obviously I'm super excited but shame for Kruiswijk.

So, my internet broke down with 6km to go. I went and did something else and downloaded the stage in HD afterwards. No regrets, big improvement on the 144p youtube stream.
What a stage! Fantastic entertainment. Shame about Kruijswijk and Zakarin, but that's cycling. I can't remember last time I was so excited for a stage as I am for tomorrow.
It's gonna be thrilling, no matter what. That brutal start will cause a really strong breakaway, which will definitely spice up things. Expect people in and around the top 10 to try to be in it, like Uran and Atapuma.

Wow, that picture....if Zakarin was ethopian or something Unicef would send food. And if he were a female model, the feminist would run amok.
Pics like that always make me aware of how unhealthy and starved cyclists look.
Haha, true true. Imagine the feminists wanting a GT of 21 flat stages so the plus size models could win!
I was late with watching this because of work. Will miss the live airing today too because of work.
I was not sure I should watch the giro this year, but now I am very glad I have since this is one of the best ones in a long time. The Giro seem to always deliver great entertainment and excitement.
Kruijswijk have been excellent and it is a shame he would lose it in a crash. You could tell that he had never been in a situation like that, trying to catch up to save his jersey and Giro win, and that stress was to much. At one moment he seemed to be able to catch the Valverde group, but once that failed there did not seem to be much energy left. Injuries, stress and riding to hard made the time loss to big for him to have a fair chance now.
I think Chaves have been good and I am hoping for him to win, but it will be up to Nibali to make stage 20 great. Maybe someone else will want to add some spice too. If Kruijswijk starts I would imagine that he will mostly try to survive, unless there have been some Nibali class recovery over night.
i couldn't see live yesterday's stage but damn.. what a fantastic race, what a turnaround.. in my opinion this is the best grand tour in the last couple of years. barely wait to see the outcome of this 2016's giro d'italia.
it's a shame for zakarin and especially for kruijswijk (in my opinion he lost his giro yesterday with his stupid mistake) but i think these accidents or mechanical problems are part of the race; it what makes it so unpredictable and also special..
and for today.. it will definitely be a tremendous stage for sure

Uran riding himself into 8th place, riding for him for the other stages was worth it after all
I'm not sure how much an 8th place in a race he has finished 2nd in twice is worth much.
Surely he could of ridden into 8th place without all the team support, most of the Cannondale riders here look to be in pretty good form with Moser, Dombrowski, Clarke and others with really only Moser given a free role, they might have been able to pick up a stage win or 2 and still got a top 10 with a sub par Uran
