So Ryder didn`t even make it into week 3 while looking okay in first 2 weeks.
So the big top favourite is out now. |

Siotsou virtual pink..
well it is situation there. Movistar can not go full speed..because Amador (as pink jersey) will be dropped.
Astana is only hope. |

I expect Astana to take over at the Passo Giau
Hesjedal out is sad, I hoped for breakaway attempts from him in week 3. |

Astana should put the hammer down as soon as they hit the Giau, they've got to put Amador under pressure from the very beginning. Also Siutsou has a handy virtual lead in the GC at the moment, just something to watch out for if the pace doesn't increase dramatically.

Dammit, Hesjedal out just as his awesome recovery becomes useful. You would think he had to be pretty sick. He usually fights through some stomach issues.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Yep, starts with a brutal kilometre of 10-11%, should send shockwaves through the pack and really split it up.

Plaza is such an beast, could've been a crucial domestique for Movistar if he still was there. Won so many GT stages in style. He might not hold on today but still a great attempt.
