I do love Sagan... he is a really fun guy and my surname being Moss I know a bit about fungi
But honestly I really hope he gets a break in the Tour of Flanders. Cancellara is for me the number one favourite there. I will be rooting for Peter though, it would be great for the rainbow bands to take that.
It is a recurring theme that he lacks that punch in the final - he just cannot quite save the energy like go at 98% like Kwiatek did there and how it seems to be in a lot of his races. I do think it could come though, if he has a slightly better team of riders around him.
Sky get their semi classic, Stannard could be an interesting outsider for Flanders also. Looks like he is timing form run quite nicely.
Etixx versus world as everyone is saying though Trentin basically was not good enough to hold. Why no Boonan on rotation earlier though?

Nah... not a relative of Kate Moss either I am a 16th cousin of the queen (a couple of times removed) though not through any of the German inbred rubbish though ... I worked out once that at was something like 1.5 millionth in line for the British throne...
Any news on the weather tomorrow ?- classics have been really nice this year but Gent Weg can be a bit dull, hoping for nasty wind fest again.

Weather should be much like last year, conditions that contributed to make it the best classic last year, high chance of rain in the whereabouts of Kemmel and probably some strong wind so yeah
EDIT: Wtf happened to this post some part of it got deleted fsr

Yep. Read Benoot originally hadn't scheduled it, but due to the weather tomorrow decided to go for it. E3 yesteday was hella nice, lets hope for something similar or better. |

Apparently Mekseb Debesay got lost trying to take a short cut after the race yesterday. It was after 21h00 local time that he arrived safe in his hotel, but with a bit too many kilometres ridden. I guess he won't be coming back to the cobbles anytime soon
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Actually, a guy took Debesay home thinking he was lost and had nowhere to go, and gave him a dinner. |

That could explain his bad shape, but I think he just didn't train hard enough this winter.
Anyway, I can confirm there's a nice wind blowing today, not as badass as last year, but it will do!

Good to hear! I guess whatever happens at G-W this year will inevitably be an anti-climax compared to what happened last year but that shouldn't stop us from enjoying what should hopefully be a tough race.

Bigtime echelons in de Moeren!
Theuns, Saga, GVA, Roelandts, Debusschere, Hagen, Cancellara, Boonen all there!

Well, I just had a little ride and it's definitely bad. Not the sudden gust of wind we had last year, but a solid wins continuously blowing from the west. It's very rewarding for attackers in the last 20km, but the little lap after the first Kemmel is going to hurt!
