I've just pushed Woods to 73 mtn and Vervaeke is also 73 mtn as both have showed how consistent they climbed over these big two days and finished with riders who have higher stats than them.

Carthy is much tougher to get right and finished with riders that have 77 mtn but clearly he can't be that high, so I guess 74-75 might be what he'll be put on.

If you give Woods and Vervaeke 73, Carthy must be 75

I don't know much about Vervaeke, but Woods is not having his first major result. rather, his second. Carthy is still on his first, so i understand Tafiofolmo wanting to be careful.

Have seen sagan in his sprints? His 2nd places is because of bad decisions but also his good acc. He starts the sprints when its just like 40-60 meters left to the finishing line. He sits on the wheel a long time and starts the sprint too late, but his acc his a beast

hmmm...I disagree with you on this point, latest example against that was the Tirreno stage Greggy won...
True also van Avermaet accelerate better than Sagan...

It looks like you know nothing about cycling... ssgsn were taken wind snd used much more power thsn than avermaet then (the whole race too) and then its not hard for a rider to get in front of him....
van Avermaet beats Sagan every time in the sprint know that he accelerate quickly a hole to Sagan.

Again loser Sagan because of his slow acceleration.

I think after 200km of hard classics racing it's hard to judge a riders acceleration, Sagan was much more tired than Kwiatek.

and low endurance.

But you have no idea if Sagan did more work than Kwiatek or something, he was setting the pace up some climbs around the 50km mark (was it the Pattenberg?), you can't judge from just one race.

Sagan loser always the sprint, not only today.

Well second is pretty good in the scheme of things and usually that's because of tactical mistakes, or the pressure to do more work as a favourite,

No because of his slow acceleration.

PeterRyder
I'd say we should lower resistance, because he collapses in the final kilometres witch means he doesn't have enough RES to hold up.

Well now you're just bringing this round in circles, Name a recent sprint that he lost where he didn't do a ton of work (compared to other riders) beforehand.

and imo, the attack at the WC required some acceleration, so he definetly has some.

sometimes I´m speechless...what on earth did this result have to do with acceleration?

i dont know why youre all fighting it's very easy to see what sagans stats should be

-2 sprint than the guy that's in the break with him on any given day

Same old story with Sagan really, just seems to run out of steam in most races that go beyond the 200km mark, same thing happened in last year's E3 as well if I remember correctly.

he clearly has a STA problem but can't be reduced that much as he was able to win the WC RR.

And both E3 and Wevelgem in the past. I real don't know how to deal with him statwise. That being said, all of Arberg's suggestions are useless of course.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

He's gone from 78 to 77 STA, I can't really put him any lower though but the idea of reducing his RES is also an idea.

Sagan looks to be stronger later in the season, at least to me.
Later in the season he appears to pack a lot more punch, especially in a race finale.
Look at how strong he was in the Tour and WC and usually in Suisse.

Just a theory Smile

Spilak23
I don't think you should lower his stats after today. This was the strongest he ever looked in a cobbled classic
