Woods was upgraded back in Dec and after a great TDU he's been upgraded further. McCarthy as well was one of my main upgrades from TDU.
These are usually some of the harder races to give stats for as the season has just started and certain riders are not near their peak form, whereas others like McCarthy and Woods were on great form.

I really like those stats, only 62 DO seems a bit too less for Woods thinking of Down Under...not sure though

Woods is one of he most improved stats I've done. The problem with the downhill stat is that it's often the hardest to do and the hardest to keep track of especially if you're watching highlights of a race. People only really tend to notice if somebody is a really good descender like Sagan or a poor one like Pinot.
Also Spilak seems to think he's pretty poor at downhill from watching Utah last year. |

I would actually strengthen Woods even a bit more. Not only because of his TDU performance.
He was fantastic in the US races. He as also 5th in last years Volta ao Algarve in the uphill finish. Algarve usually several riders are already a bit better in form. Coming just behind Porte, Kwiatkowski, Izagirre and Thomas with a 13s gap and ahead of the likes of Machado, Formolo, Fernandez, Taaramae.
Seeing Machado and Fernandez were also riding TdU last year, they had some kilometers in their legs.
I doubt in PCM you would get a very good result with the above stats even in TdU but agree that this is more due to the fitness random issue. But I highly doubt that those stats would give him any chance to top5 in late February Algarve. |

All the highlighted riders I have on 74 and 75 hill, so a push to 74 could be good for him, I'd only consider 75 if his results continue to be good.
Also his Acc could be looked at as well.
It's hard really to get realistic results for these riders in races like TDU, as riders like Gerrans (despite winning) Ulissi, Henao and Pozzovivo are not on prime form. You would need things like nat. bonus to work for the Aus rders, good race form and good daily form to be really good in these races. |

Yeah. 74 is an improvement already.
Just wanted to point out that he did beat guys with higher mo/hill also in a later race like Algarve and not just TdU. |

I think on the last db he was 69 hill and now is on 74, so he's had a pretty good deal. |

OK this might be noticed, but Koen Bouwman had not very good stats on TT and climbing in last DB. I would image they might be a bit increased, but I'm sure you got that under control.
This from Lotto-Jumbos website (and they believe in him I understand)
"Koen Bouwman showed himself during the 2015 Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta Mont Blanc. He soloed to the stage win at the final day of the stage race on the Colle del Gran San Bernardo. Three weeks before that highlight, he became fourth at the Dutch time trial championships for riders younger than 23-years-old. Those capacities combined with his climbing talent, are the most important ingredients for a promising career.
Bouwman got the chance to prove his strength as a Team LottoNL-Jumbo trainee in 2015 and delivered a strong performance in the Tour of Britain. The young climber has a great stamina. “The longer a race is, the better it is for me. I should be able to support our frontmen in the mountains.”
If it could be to some help

Great stuff Clamel and this is always the kind of information much needed on younger and far lesser known riders. Will certainly look at his stats before the new db is released.

Hey guys, kinda wondering what y'all think about these riders:
Ryan Anderson (A 5th place @ GP Marseillaise caught my attention)
Dylan Page (3rd @ Trofeo Palma ahead of Sam Bennett, Jonas Van Genechten, and Navardauskas also surprised me)
Alberto Torres (5th @ Trofeo Palma and 7th on st.3 @ Valenciana)
Scott Thwaites (7th @ Trofeo Muro)
King Lok Cheung (He's Elite-2, but did win both Asian TT and RR championships, the RR ahead of Yukiya Arashiro)
Giorgio Bocchiola (Getting obscure now, but did get 10th in st.3 @ Valenciana)
Neil Van Der Ploeg, Robbie Hucker and Joseph Cooper (got 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Herald Sun Tour's 2.1 km Prologue)
Dion Smith (3rd on st.1 of Herald Sun Tour, plus excellent results all last year)
Tanner Putt (2nd on st.2 of Herald Sun Tour, only behind Caleb Ewan in a 6 man group)
Timothy Dupont (2nd on st.1 @ Besseges)
Bert Van Lerberghe (6th on st.1 @ Besseges, 4th on st.2)
Fabrico Ferrari (7th on st.3 @ Besseges)
Boris Dron (9th on st.3 @ Besseges)
Martijn Verschoor (14th on st.1 @ Dubai Tour and 11th on st.2)
Tomas Vaitkus (I mentioned him a while back, but @ Dubai Tour, he got 10th on st.1, and 5th on st.2)
Jesus Alberto Rubio Arribas (Getting even more obscure, but got 13th on st.3 of Dubai Tour)
Soufiane Haddi (Got 12th on st.3 @ Dubai Tour)
Tesform Okuamarium (Going back to Tropicale Amissa Bongo, but did bag 6 top 10's and 4th on GC against out of form French PCT riders and African National Teams)
Nikodemus Holler (Don't think he's in the DB, but just found him last week. Got 11th on GC @ Amissa Bongo plus a top 5 on hilly st.3, but has had results in the past for Team Stradelli-Bike Aid, one of my favorite continental teams for their crazy exotic schedule they race)
Hopefully you guys can use this info, had a hour of spare time so I did this. If there's anything else I can find, I'll post it in the next few days |

Quite a few of these riders like Anderson, Page, Dupont, Van Leberghe etc have been noticed by me and their stats adjusted, there are some though that you've mentioned that I will look at more.
Thanks for the great info again.

Tafiolmo some suggestions:
Stuyven SPR 78 I think is too for him. For example Lobato is better than him and Lobato is 76. In my opinion: Stuyven SPR 76 ACC 77 and Lobato SPR 77 ACC 77/78
And Alaphilippe Climber 75 is too. He was fantastic in 1 stage in USA, but Sagan was amazing in some stages in mountain in le Tour de France and he is 71 for example. Sagan, Van Avermaet, Boasson Hagen, are similar riders and they are 70/71 in mountain, I think they are perfect.
I would give Alaphilippe 73 and I think I would be very generous |

Stuyven must be a mistake, I'd say 74SP/76ACC at most. Good backup stats as he's a classics rider though.
I have Alaphilllipe at 73 as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I think Sagan is overrated with his MO. In most of my careers, he turns out to be a rider who finishes GTs in top10 overall on a regular basis. Maybe you should also consider setting an MO limit for him at his current level. |

Erm where did we give Stuyven 78 sp?
I assure you we didn't.
Make sure you didn't look at a savegame but to an original db.
Stuyven's stats are 76-76 sp-acc and he's perfect as he is.

I´m not a fan of setting limits, I even would appreciate that this can happen. F.e. we will see a massive cobbles upgrade for Tony Martin over the next years (similar to Nibalis when he did well in that Tour stage), just becauses he changes his focus partly to cobbled classics and I am pretty sure he will do well.
So I would even love if it´s possible that riders on later ages suddenly get a massive boost in some stats (and lose something in other stats) due to focus changes...we see late starting riders kind of often (especially when they go from Cyclocross to Road Racing, thinking of Stybar, Peraud,...), and these options are not able in the current system
though I don´t think it´s possible to change something in that direction and don´t know if that would be appreciated by a lot of people, I would love to hear a feedback about that...
sorry for being a little off-topic...

Lol Aizak, I'm not sure where 78 Stuyven sprint came from, he's never been higher than 76 sprint. Lobato will be 76sp 77acc and he has an advantage of being able to finish well on hilly finishes with his good hill stat (if his results continue being strong then he may be upgraded further for next update) Alaphilippe is 74 mtn and his 80 hill makes him equally good for both classics and tours.
I had Sagan finish 11th recently in the TDF and that was after slaving away for Contador as well, I also know that some members have had him get high results on mtn stages so a mtn decrease was needed there to 72. His other high stats make him better than 72 in the mtns anyway.

I am testing the Beta and maybe they will improve their stats a little, sorry for the confusion
EDIT: I just check the game and Stuyven is 76/76. It's ok.
Alapphilipe is 75 in mountain. I think 73 is more realistic for his results

We thought that was a tad too high as well and is now on 74 (on 75 on a previous test db)
