#1, #12 and #16 picks.
Cancellara will hopefully have a much better season. Simon Yates and Mareckzo are both a bit more unlikely but hopefully will do well.
Quite surprised that a lot of riders high up on my list were still available at my turn. Although I'm starting to doubt why I put Stanard, Vivianni, Meintjies, Zakarin, etc. just below Mareckzo I'm still happy with these three.
@Lakebeach: Was tossing up the order of TVG, Cance, Gerrans and Thomas at the end, it could have been the other way round very easily

Pretty good! Got my 1st, 7th and 14th choice. Stybar and Kreuziger both better have a good season now!

Draft Rounds 1-3 Statistics
Here are some statistics regarding the first three rounds.
SN calculated the 2015 performances of the first 3 riders for each team. It shows that there is already a decent gap, which obviously can and will change within the next rounds. But it is a nice statistic to which members found nice rider so far.
jseadog1 | 2754 | dominox | 2751 | TheManxMissile | 2717 | Bikex | 2624 | jph27 | 2566 | ember | 2435 | lakebeach | 2356 | matt17br | 2344 | jaxika | 2302 | baseballlover312 | 2260 | Roman | 2065 | Ollfardh | 1971 | sgdanny | 1943 | Selwink | 1934 | OZrocker | 1921 | MARSUPILAMI | 1723 | sutty68 | 1601 | trekbmc | 1441 | SportingNonsense | 1410 | roturn | 1299 | alexkr00 | 1206 | NicoVirenque | 1038 | Shonak | 942 |
At the top a fight of 3.
jseadog1 with a strong trio of Gallopin, Boonen and Ulissi. In hilly races and cobbled classics, those should score well also in 2016.
dominox having stage racers Henao Montoya and Zakarin as also Boasson Hagen, who had a nice season and now needs to keep this level being back in WT.
Third is TMM, who shows that having the very last pick in a draft can play out nicely. Dennis, Bakelants and Ion Izagirre. Strong trio in especially on hilly terrain.
Further down the list Shonak. Though he is going for the talents. Gaviria has high potential and should improve easily. Also Meintjes showed great things while Phinney is back after a long injury but already showed his strength afterwards. So their points should easily be better in 2016.
Similar with NicoVirenque, who picked Gerrans as top pick. If he finds his form, he might be the very best individual rider in this league. Also Demare and Talansky surely can improve after weaker 2015 seasons.
alexkr00 goes for two talents in Lopez Moreno and Grosu. Both are nice prospects, who could improve, while Gesink is a gambling pick. If being healthy, he can challenge the best. But in recent years he often struggled with crashes and other issues.
1st Round Statistics
- 47,83% of all managers did get their #1 pick!
- Another 30,43% at least picked their #2 or #3 pick
- 8,70% each got their #4 or #5 pick while only 1 manager got a low #7 pick in the first round
2nd Round Statistics
- Only 2 managers got a very high 2nd round pick. SN even had a #1 & #2 draft.
- 4 more managers got a #4 or #5 pick. Notable are sgdanny with a #2/#3 combination as also OZrocker with a #3/#4 and baseballlover with a #1/#4 despite having the 50th pick only for the 2nd round.
- 43,48% got a pick between 6th and 10th option in the 2nd round
- 1/4 of all managers had to go down to their top20 options while only one manager was dropping to his #24 option (Yes that was me :/ )
Most Popular Riders
KITTEL Marcel | CAVENDISH Mark | PHINNEY Taylor | THOMAS Geraint | CANCELLARA Fabian | LANDA MEANA Mikel | GALLOPIN Tony | STYBAR Zdenek | BOASSON HAGEN Edvald | VAN GARDEREN Tejay | VANMARCKE Sep | THEUNS Edward |
- Kittel was easily the most popular. With five #1 and two #2, it was surprising to see him down to the 7th round
- Cavendish was also a very popular pick but as he was the #1 pick, most managers had no chance to get him
- While Phinney and Thomas were a bit more popular throughout all managers, Cancellara possibly was the most popular behind Kittel when seeing the top 5 wishes. Though he landed on some lists very far behind which results in a 5th place for him only |

My team is prepared for a good 2016 season specially with Ewan. Then, both Martin and Stannard should do it well in their terrains in order to get me points
PS: Sent the next rounds' big board

Now that's pretty interesting. I certainly thought many would have the same guys highest on their lists, but apparently that was not the case.

Understandably low on the list for me as Cancellara had a bad last season and Mareckzo is a talent (now I'm starting to doubt that risk )
Quite interesting statistics though so thanks for those.

Actually it took until the 10th pick until a #2 option was drafted.
The first 9 all had different #1 options.
Interesting though that after the 9th pick only the 15th and 23rd got their #1 option then. |

Didn't expect that at all.
However, it's great to see that so many wants different riders. If things were the other way around, only the guys who had one of the first picks would prevail. It's cool that many people can pick the rider that they want the most.

Just working on the results. And guess what: We have a manager with a 1-4 picked from his priority list. Possibly we could have gone another 1-2 rounds and he still had a perfect 100%. |

Thanks for the update roturn. Quite happy with my team.
Allthough I didn't give any preference to any regions while picking, I got 3 Basque riders now plus another Spaniard. Seems like nobody wants them.
Together with Landa from round 1 that's 4 Basque and 5 Spanish riders in total so far. Only bad news for me is that I'll have to cheer for Sky now next season with 3 riders from their team.
Spoiler
Mikel Landa
Simon Spilak
Giacomo Nizzolo
Mikel Nieve
Benat Intxausti
Rafael Valls
Amets Txurruka
Will try to keep that focus in the next rounds now. |

4-5-11-14. Not too sure what to think, bit of a gamble obviously, but I'll take it in this case.

Again a couple of statistics.
First an updated ranking table when taking the 2015 CQ points.
dominox | 4996 | jseadog1 | 4959 | TheManxMissile | 4938 | Bikex | 4724 | jph27 | 4418 | ember | 4316 | matt17br | 3923 | Selwink | 3729 | jaxika | 3723 | baseballlover312 | 3721 | Roman | 3521 | lakebeach | 3506 | sgdanny | 3506 | OZrocker | 3492 | MARSUPILAMI | 3359 | sutty68 | 3102 | roturn | 3066 | Ollfardh | 3025 | trekbmc | 2938 | alexkr00 | 2877 | SportingNonsense | 2331 | NicoVirenque | 2270 | Shonak | 2091 |
dominox and jseadog1 swapped their places but still both go very strong. First though could struggle as Boeckmans won`t be back until ~May unfortunately. jseadog1 has the questionmark over Guldhammer due the Cult-Stölting team issue. Also Bookwalter first needs to keep his 2015 form, while Chavanel is a similar case to dominox`s Fedrigo. Ageing riders in a new team.
TMM defends the 3rd while also the next three all keep their positions. lakebeach and ollfardh with bigger downs but with chances to have improved 2016 seasons.
Down the ranking it`s still Shonak and NicoVirenque while also SN dropped down. Shonak`s gamble on younger talents might see an improved 2016, while NicoVirenque went for some veterans. Peraud, Boom, Anton and Schleck possibly all can show more than last season.
Meanwhile SN has to hope for Carlos Betancourt, which is always a huge gamble.
Round 4-7 Statistics

A nice number of 10 managers got their #1 rider this time with an additional 6 managers at least had their 2nd option.
Special note that both SportingNonsense and sgdanny with a 1-2 pick. First even made it in both drafts so far!
Another huge congrats to sgdanny as he really made a 1-2-3-4 in this draft. Additionally to his 2-3-4 in the first draft, this is some impressive "luck" or skills when writing the lists.
Only 3 managers were able to get their #1 option in both drafts so far. bbl and SN at the start/end of the draft and roturn from an "early mid" position. |

Some interesting choices made. Happy with the ones I got (1-5-11-16) and now gotta hope Dylan Teuns continues to get better and so will Gougeard, Geniez and ma boy Pello Bilbao hopefully.
Kudos to SN for going full YOLO on Betancur, I had him on 29th and secretely hoped he would get to me in the 7th round. Think I found the balance I was looking for so far, hope this continues in the next rounds because there are a few awesome names still unpicked
For now Bikex' team looks to be the strongest.

Not sure what you mean. You only got your 1st pick in the 2nd draft, which is not surprising seeing you started this one.

Betancur and Boeckmans seem to be big risks indeed, but the same can be said for my choice of Langeveld.
Oh, and can we reverse the order after this again? Next round 5 picks or something?

I thought about this as well. But while 3 rounds are too less imo to not slow down the process, I feel 5 full rounds could be too much.
Then again most of your lists still had lots of riders left and I am pretty sure that it could have been easily 5 or even 6 rounds with the same. So possibly something that could be discussed if just doing an extra round with the same lists. |

Starting to think that Gerrans or Dan Martin would have been more valuable to pick up given Valverde's recent successes but I'm still happy with the three I got (#3, 4 and 11 in my shortlist btw) although I'm not sure why I had Rolland that high.
Not quite the same, got picks #1, 4, 7 and 10 this time. Similar rider types with Konig and Ten Dam; I've now got 5 second-tier GC riders now. Not really an intentional choice, but I'm expecting both of them to improve their point-scoring a lot from 2015.
Guardini should pick up easy points from sprints in Astana's minor races whereas Rodolfo Torres was a bit of a gamble, but Androni need someone to score points and he's proven to be a solid GC contender in smaller races this year.
