Sisr is way more likely a sprinter than a climber, but can definetely ride over some hills or climbs to achieve a decent result.

Chinese 2014 RR champion, and 3rd in the ITT. Didn't race the NCs this year. Kind of hard to determine his specialisation, what I do know is that he's a decent TT rider, and other decent stage results result from group sprints over hilly terrain. PCS

Decent young Korean rider. Rode really well to finish 4th overall in this years Tour of Korea behind some notable names, just missing out on White to Caleb Ewan. PCS
I'll add some more a little later.

I think Zhao could be made better. Most would train him as a TT'er or a hilly rider with those stats (if anyone would even sign him) - And he wouldn't be good either way. You could make him better in Flat, Hill and sprint imo, that would make him a bit more interesting, while not being overpowered.

Brendan Canty - - 17.01.1992 (23 years)
Will join Drapac next year, already rode the Abu Dhabi Tour as a stagiare this season (finishing 13th overall). Had a few notable results with Team Budget Forklifts, like 7th overall in the Herald Sun Tour, 18th overall in Tour of Utah, a stage-win (TT) and 11th overall in the Tour de Beauce or a solid 18th place in the Cadel Evans Road Race.. Canty has made a pretty quick progress in the past two years after popping up in the Aussie cycling scene rather late. I would consider him a solid stage racer in the next years: nothing special, but capable of pulling some good results on (P)CT level maybe. Definitely one of the most interesting riders for Drapac next season.

Judging by his results, he looks like a better climber than the stats suggested, Im not 100% sure but his best results look like breakaway results, but the profiles on those stages also look quite hilly, so he could probably be made a little better.

Feel free to update them if you like, I'm not much creating stats. Kind of got caught between determining his specialisation and not trying to make the stats OP, which resulted in them being underpowered.

I hope this isn't too late to be considered for adding to the DB. I was hoping to go through and search out a few more riders from more obscure nations but have been too busy so this will have to do.
Andrea Terenzi SMR 01/08/1994
Andrea doesn't have a CQ page and hasn't got any CQ points or road results but he's the Sammarinese National mountain bike champion at the age of 21 and it's a nation lacking young riders so thought I may as well suggest him but I've no idea what stats to ask for, he’s probably the most promising cyclist in the nation and should definitely have potential to be stronger than Forcellini who was added last year. Ideally I’d like him to have the potential to become stronger than Paolo Scarponi which would probably mean I’d struggle to get him from FA this year, I guess he could have potential of about 76Hill which wouldn’t make him overly strong considering we’d likely be PCT by the time he’s maxed so would be another strong domestique at that level to add to our roster but wouldn’t see him over powered if he ended up in CT when maxed. Maybe his backup stats could be loosely modelled on Schurter who is another Mountain Biker of similar Hill ability to what I’m suggesting he maxes out at but with less Downhill than the Swiss rider.
https://mtbcrossco...a-terenzi/
https://www.procyc...ea_Terenzi
https://firstcycli...hp?r=17002
Victor Langelotti MON 07/06/1995
Victor has no CQ points or CQ ranking page but he has a couple of results on PCS. He doesn't look too strong of a strong rider but it could be fun to add a Monegasque rider to the DB. He is only 20 and is already credited with a 16th in a 1.1 race back in 2012 when he would have been about 17 so he might have some potential. I know we don’t want too many 1995 born riders in the DB but I thought seeing as he obviously isn’t a top talent then he might be allowed to sneak in considering him uniqueness nationality wise which might help him get picked up by a team. (If not I’d be tempted the following year when I’ve got more budget and space seeing as I have riders from quite a few of the minor central European nations already)

https://firstcycli...amp;y=2015
Iltjan Nika ALB 23/03/1995
This young Albanian is 3 times Under 23 NC at the tender age of 20. His only other notable result is 3rd in the junior RR at the 2013 WC (Senior race won by Rui Costa) along with 14th at the 1.1 Trofeo Buffoni the same year and 7th on a stage of the 2.1 Giro Internazionale della Lunigiana which was a flat stage that ended in a sprint. This year he added to that by finishing 16th on a hilly stage of Ronde de L’osie, and being 10th in the youth standings at the Vuelta a Colombia, albeit down in 133rd in GC. He is on a continental team in real life and could possibly get picked up by an eastern European focussed team next year.

https://firstcycli...amp;y=2015
Alexander Wachter AUT 21/01/1995
This young Austrian’s highlight result of his career so far is winning the Men’s Junior European Championship back in 2012. Apart from that he has scored a few other good results that show some potential over the last 2 years including 11th on a stage of the 2014 An Post Ras, which he then went on to hold 11th in GC to the finish of the race and also finish 2nd in the youth standings despite being only 19 at the time and finishing 15th on a flat stage of the Giro della Regione Friulli later in that year. In 2015 he has managed to bag a stage win on the first flat stage of the Carpathian Couriers race, going on to finish 6th on GC and second in the young rider standings there, 4th in the Proec Trophy, a hilly 1 day race in Croatia won by Marco Kump, 17th at the Umag Trophy, another Croatian hilly race, also won by Kump, albeit over a less challenging course, 13th in a flat rated Trofeo Alcide Degasperi and top 10’s in the first 3 stages of the Tour of Serbia before failing to finish the final stage whilst sitting 7th on GC after going 8th, 8th, 5th on the opening 3 stages. He doesn’t appear to like climbs at all after DNF’ing on the first Mountain stage of L’Avenir and having avoided racing on them over the rest of the 2015 season. He looks to me to be a hilly guy with a strong kick that can also net him places in flat sprints, particularly after a hard ride so he’d probably have quite a high Res stat. If he was a world class rider he’d probably prefer races like MSR to pan flat stages like Qatar or the Ardennes classics.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=16579
Jan Sokol AUT 26/09/1990
Jan is a 25 year old Austrian who is missing from the DB and probably should enter it already maxed. He first demonstrated his ability 5 years ago getting a couple of top 30’s on flat stages at the 2.HC Osterreich Rundfahrt before going on to get 2 15th place finishes in flat stages of L’Avenir the following year. In 2012 he returned to L’Avenir to pick up a 5th and 6th place on the 2 flat stages aswell as picking up a 10th place on the final stage of Osterreich Rundfahrt, 4th place at the GP Vorarlberg and 14th place at the final stage of the Istrian Spring Trophy Tour in what was quite a successful year for him that also included a couple of top 10’s in Under 23 races. 2013 followed and is his most successful year to date, where he got 8th on the final stage of Istrian Spring Trophy and 2nd in the points standings, 2nd on the flat opening stage of the Tour de Bretagne before holding on for 7th on the hilly second stage (Won by Zoidl) (5th in the bunch sprint), 9th place on the opening 2 flat stages of the Giro della Regione Friulli. Near the end of the year he had some strong results like 2nd in the 1.2 Tour Kosice Miskolc, 8th in the 1.2 Croatia-Slovenia (won by Zoidl) and being picked to represent Team Gourmetfein Simplon who he was riding for all season long in the World Championship TTT. Last year he picked up a stage win in the An Post Ras riding for Synergy Baku Cycling Project as well as 6th at the GP Vorarlberg and 2nd on the final stage of the Mzansi Tour. This year his best results have been top 20’s in stages or classics as he hasn’t been able to recreate the form he had 2 years ago. Overall I think he could be added as a decent CT Leadout man.
https://firstcycli...php?r=2306
Taruia Krainer (Tahiti/FRA) 01/06/1991
This 24 year old rider was a Stagiare for Europcar in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. He has finished 16th at Binche Tournai Binche (2014), 6th on GC at Paris Arras Tour (2014), where his team finished second on the opening TTT and he was 12th GC at the Tour de Bretagne (2014), including a top 10 on stage 4. In 2015 he has mainly focussed on the French National Calender for the Vendee U team. From what I can tell this Frenchman is possibly the most talented cyclist to come from French Polynesia in recent years, originating from Tahiti and if put in the DB from Tahiti he could add some extra flavour to the DB, possibly being picked up by a CT team that focusses on Oceania.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=15748
Lucas Manuel Gaday Orozco ARG 20/02/1993
Lucas is a rider that I suggested last season but didn’t make the MGDB and after having a much stronger 2015 than 2014 I think he would now be a welcome new talent for Sancor to chase. I’ll start by recapping his earlier results which include 14th on the opening stage of the 2013 Tour de San Luis, 6th in the 2013 Argentinian Under 23 RR, followed by 2nd in 2014, top 10’s on 2 stages of the Tour de Szeklerland, finishing 2nd in the points classification (2014).
In 2015 he raced a bit more in Europe and in the Under 23 scene, gaining 10th at La Cote Picardie, Winning the GP Della Liberazione, 8th at the Trofeo Castelfidardo, 7th on the opening stage of the Course de la Paix, getting top 10’s on 2 stages of the Okolo Slovenska and winning 3 Argentinian National Event level races before topping it off by proving he is a rising star of the future by getting 8th at the Under 23 world championships ahead of guys like Kamna, Kudus and Haig.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=18161
Andrea Maccagli SMR 09/03/1995
Another young Sammarinese rider that I’ve found, unfortunately he doesn’t really have any results but I thought it might be possible to add him into the DB as a domestique, maybe to max out at roughly 73/74TT and a high fighter stat to make him go into breaks in stage races and be useful for TTT’s but not that great for much else except maybe a decent flat stat of around 75 so he can chase down breaks he’s not in for my sprint leaders. I appreciate he is a 1995 rider with no road results since 2013 but like Terenzi he has seemingly focussed on MTB the last couple of years.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=27059
https://mtbcrossco...-maccagli/
Nik Azwan Zulkifle MAS 07/05/1990 ID: 8018
This former Malaysian TT champion is already in the DB as a FA but seeing as he is now 25 and only level 2 I was hoping he might be eligible to be bumped up to level 3 or 4 to give him longer at maxed stats and given a boost to his hill stat (to mid 60’s) and a small boost to his mountain stat (to high 50’s) following his 5th place in the Mountain competition at the Tour de Langkawi (2015) and 11th on the opening hilly stage of the Jelajah Malaysia (2014).
https://firstcycli...hp?r=16767
Oleg Zemlyakov KAZ 07/07/1993
This 22 year old Kazakh stage racer has had a fairly good 2015 season, being the best non Iranian on the mountain stage at the Tour de Taiwan which equated to 5th place and taking both the senior and under 23 national road titles after being Kazakh under 23 TT champion last year. He picked up 5 Youth jersey’s in total throughout 2015 competing in a calendar mostly built around Eastern Europe and Asia. Next season he will be riding for Astana in the World Tour.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=20693
Maxsym Averin AZE 28/11/1985 ID:3347
Maxsym is in the DB as Ukranian but is of Azerbaijani nationality.
https://firstcycli...hp?r=13373
Jerry Aquino PHI 02/07/1992
Jerry is a young Pilipino sprinter whose best results come from 2013 but has also gained a couple of nice results this year if the limited information I’ve been able to find on him is correct, the most impressive of which is finishing 7th in the Asian Championships this year and finishing 2nd in the points competition at the 2013 Tour de Singkarak. Admittedly he isn’t the greatest rider about but seeing as there’s 3 South East Asian focussed teams about at the moment with us focussing on Malaysia, Siam on Thailand and Indosat on Indonesia it’s a region that might need a small boost in numbers compared to the amount of teams focussed on it.

There are only 20 Kazakh riders in the DB so I thought I'd propose some new names to be added.
Ilya Davidenok
Kaz
19/04/1992
CQ
PCS
By far the second most talented young Kazakh rider (behind Lutsenko). Accumulated almost 400 CQ points during the 2014 season. Biggest victories are the overal (+ 1 stage win) at the Tour of Qinghai Lake, the Kazakh Road NC and a Tour de l'Avenir stage.
He is a very good allrounder whose strongpoint is hard to determine. He packs a decent sprint but has an aggressive style and attacks a lot. He's main strenght is getting over shorter hills but has also shown he can do good on a long climb if necessary by winning on a hard MTF in l'Avenir. It was from a break but he still managed to beat Oomen who was 5th overal there a year later.
Maxat Ayazbayev
Kaz
27/01/1992
CQ
PCS
Domestique at Astana. Has not shown much so far but got in from the Continental squad so they must've tought he had some talent. Can't say much about his skills
Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev
Kaz
28/03/1992
CQ
PCS
Another young guy riding for the main Astana squad. Did not ride much big races but his results in Turkey and Hainan show some potential for uphill terrain.
Will look some more when I have some more time
Edit: just saw Kozhatayev is already in the DB so nevermind the last proposal

I really would like to see these riders added (however some other guys may have requested one or more of these riders)
Gianni Moscon 20th April 1994 "long distance rider" https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....?id=170164
Gianni Moscon is a decent rider for the hills. In 2014 Gianni won he the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia (u23 Lombardia). Also in the northern classics he must find his way. This season he became second in Flanders u23, fourth on the world champs (u23) after a big lead-out for Simone Consonni (2nd). He also became national champ this year. Next season he will ride for Team Sky.
Simone Consonni 12th September 1994 "Sprinter/Track Rider" https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/...e_Consonni
Simone Consonni is a cyclist for team Colpack. Sprinter but also a great elimination rider on the track. He became second in Grenchen (European Champs) Behind Coquard. His notable results on the road are a win in La Cote Picardie (NCUP.u23). Even more important is his second place in u23 WC. Has signed for Lampre but will race another year for Colpack (probably due to Rio 16)
Giulio Ciccone 20th December 1994 "Pure Climber" https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/...io_Ciccone
Giulio Ciccone is Bardiani should become Bardiani's new top climber. He is really good at taking mountain jersey's . But also got a sixth overall in the tour de l'avenir. Hills should be fine to for Giulio as he became second in Lombardia u23 (after teammate Masnada, but they didn't sprint for it)
Simone Petilli 4th May 1993 "GC Talent" https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....?id=159481
Should be the biggest Italian GC contender for the next ten years. Next season he will wear colours of Lampre.
“I never 'mollare' – I never stop. In a climb I can attack as many times as needed to make a difference.”
Became seventh in this the last stage of the trentino tour.
Sang-Hoon Park 13th March 1993 "TT-ist"
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/..._Hoon_Park
I dunno not too much of this guy, but he should be pretty good in ITT's (u23 Asian Champ + 2nd NC ITT Pro's). Decent in sprints too.
Ok Cheol Kim 16th November 1994 "GC Racer"
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/..._Cheol_Kim
Should be a sort of GC racer (however from the really cheap type)
Ha Jeon Jung 30th April 1995 "Sprinter"
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/..._Jeon_Jung
Maybe a sprinter but it's really unclear, finished third in the NC's
Oh and it would be nice if you Give Nicola Boem an update (definately for the fighter stat and maybe for hill, flat too) |

Some more:
Vladislav Gorbunov
07/12/1991
Kaz
PCS
Finished 12th in the Volta a Portugal couple years ago. So a decent GC climber.
Sergey Luchsenko
25/06/1994
Kaz
PCS
Very young rider who has shown little so far as a pro in small continental races but was quite decent in the youth categories.
Yerlan Pernebekov
16/06/1995
Kaz
PCS
A punchy type from what I could find.
Vadim Galeyev
07/02/1992
Kaz
PCS
Mainly a sprinter

FLORES Jhorman is already in the DB as 65mo/67hi/64TT and pot 4/level1.
https://www.procyc...eason=2016
He could possibly get a small update in stats and possibly potential to develop into a decent PCT/CT rider/PT helper. Won 3 times the Vuelta al Tachira Youth Jersey in a row. Was 16th/18th/11th in the GC those years. And won todays stage there. Still only 22 years of age!
I would say +2/3 in the mountain stat as level 1 rider as also a higher potential of 5 or 6 could make him more interesting and deliver him a team this transfers. |

Dinawan is a well-rounded sprinter who has raced the majority of his career in Asia. Majority of his results are wins and many top 10s on flat terrain, as well as some decent results (including a victory) on a hilly stage and a win from a break on a difficult mountain stage. PCS

Promising young Indonesian sprinter who has achieved respectable results in a few Malaysian races, including a nice second place on a stage that featured a steep and difficult hill not too far from the finish. He's also been known to attack the peloton on these hilly stages. He's also not too bad at prologue TT's. Maxed, his top stats would be: 77sp, 76acc and if trained as track sprinter, he could reach 76Prl. PCS

is it still possible to edit these guys for coming into the db? because guys like Per and Novak have shown that they are worth more than I initially gave them?

In theory it would still work.
The first DB that will be published can still be edited until the transfer season starts.
Per and Novak (actually for just exactly this reason) are most likely to be added the season after only. As seen in the first post young talents preferably were looked at from 1992 - 1994 and 1995 riders only in some cases.
Though, you can be sure, that all teams and this in especially includes the new teams, will get a nice choice of riders from their Nations. |

Per and Novak (actually for just exactly this reason) are most likely to be added the season after only. As seen in the first post young talents preferably were looked at from 1992 - 1994 and 1995 riders only in some cases.
Though, you can be sure, that all teams and this in especially includes the new teams, will get a nice choice of riders from their Nations.
that´s good to hear, so I´ll leave it as it stands here

It may not be official, but Quickstep will be sponsored by Palau this year.
I hope Palauan riders can be added.
Regards.
PS. Suriname and Comoros rider would be helpful too.
