AMEX-Navigon is not going to challenge for a podium unless the peloton is foolish enough to wait too long to chase down Yemane. He like to get in the breaks and he is surprisingly efficient on the hills.
Work hard boys we need ever point we can muster.

Should hopefully be a good race for McCarthy, could really use it to secure a top 15 finish.

Zingle for a top 20 would be nice I think I just picked this because I had some RDs left over after picking everything that I wanted.

Not good at all. At least Jensen tried something but Hoogerland the best for us at 65th or something like that... |

The Good: Great depth from Evonik. 3 guys in the top eleven and Dzamastagic also in the top ten is a great sign. Should the second stage also finish in a mass sprint then a couple of good GC results are possible. Especially LLS and Smukulis with strong finishes. Similarly, the team was positioned well throughout the whole stage with many riders at the front!
The bad: 2 points from this stage is nothing. I would have hoped to see an attack by LLS.
The ugly: Seriously, how can Vink win this? Alone vs everyone and winning that duel? It seems Risa is back in the promotion battle. :/
Anyway, stage 2 seems to be harder from the stage pic so perhaps we see a more selective race tomorrow?
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Kinney finished in the peleton, that's good. Just a better place would be a bit nicer, even if it means sticking in the break for a much longer time...

Go home AI, you're drunk.
Hopefully we'll see a decent fight in stage 2.

Vink to pull his second big win after Berlin (iirc) this year? Disappointing stage from a neutral point of view and Vink definitely can survive with a passive pack like that.. Hoping for a proper final stage, I'm sorry, tastasol

Matt actually called the AI good on skype.
But yeah, absolutely terrible stage for anyone not Risa (and Matt, apparently ), really hope McCarthy can come good on stage two.

Sigh, forgot we were even in this race, looks like my riders did too. Congrats to Tarqui for his 124th place finish, best on the team...

I think there's a big difference between being impressed by the AI and calling that good, Dippo
Should I link all the chat?

Vontobel did really well on this stage, I hope they can hold their GC positions tomorrow and get a massive points haul from this race.

Woah, absolutely doing nothing... If we promote I really need some new puncheurs because Favilli is awful on C1 level.

Vink has really been an awesome signing, but have to agree with you guys. A shame how he's "allowed" to win that first stage.
I really fear a new Britain-thing coming up now. Hopefully Vink will be good, or he will be so bad that no one helps him. Must have been a hard day for him, so hope he recovers good.
Even though I can't really be unhappy after a win like that, my other riders should have tried to get closer to the top. If we'll see a new passive stage tomorrow, they could lose out on some points there.

Wow, Craven actually decides to race for something! Well done to my team for controlling a 12 man group, but were unable to reel back a lone solo break. Really guys?
Just sucks that we had to take 2nd behind a breakaway rider. Would've been so awesome to take the win. But, I would also gladly have taken 2nd behind Di Maggio or McCarthy or another favourite.
