Manan again getting confused with Awang, looks like my sprinter has changed for these stages compared to the earlier ones judging by finishing positions.
Shame he missed out on the top 10 in this one but he just didn't have the speed to keep up when it mattered. Hopefully that indicates bad daily form today and not really good daily form yesterday.

Well congrats to Azteca for a change.
Eritel's sprints have just been terrible. The Van's haven't found their chemistry, when working together.

Timing, Croket, timing! Nice to see him sprinting so strong and would like to see him win a stage. He has been really consistent though, so can't fault him for that.
Now, hopefully we can salvage our GC.

A nice time gain on Anacona, good teaming up by Teklit and Berhane. Shame no chance for stage honours for Teklit but great for Sauber to get another win, and Iman Suparman scoring some ranking points!!

Yeh, it's really odd - looked like they were in a good position there, but then Van Heerden just stops altogether.
Still, it has at least led to some success, and it's not like there were any other races I could have sent them to instead. Wouldn't really have expected a 79/79 leadout man to be so hit and miss for an 82/73 sprinter, but I reckon still better than having not bought Sande, had Ayoune as main leadout, and trained Heerden's ACC a little bit.

Bardet with his first noteworthy ride of the season. 2nd place is a great result for him. Shame it'll mean nothing to the team in the end

Annoying time loss for us but great to see such a strong presence from the team in the peloton chase.

Aggressive style of trying to defend the jersey by Lövkvist there, great job!
Next stage will be very critical, I fear the length of the stage may hurt Lövkvist a bit but hopefully he will continue his great form! |

Fonseca is really making the best out of his abilities, especially regarding he has no support in the bunch sprints. Two podiums in the tour is already more than we could've asked from him.
Gratz to the Azteca boys breaking the Cabrera dominance!
Penasa finally stopped the downward tendency and stayed with the favourites. Good way to make us a little bit more optimistic as a real killer stays lies ahaed.
Still enjoying our breakaway effords and even more if these are translating into ranking points. Was the right move by Schuler to go all in for the KOM, so I can't blame him for running out of steam to the finish line.
Gratz to a another win by the Sauber guys and Zardini once again proving he's the best puncher attending!
Thanks for the lovely reports, tsmoha... is a pleasure to race here!

This is more what I like to see by Anton!! First catching Lovkvist then gapping all the main favourites, great stuff!
If Anton continous this form...

Another annoying hilly stage. I' m glad there is only one more left.
It's great to see Sauber doing so well today. Congrats to them.
Thanks for another great report!

Tvetcov is going strong, now we really need to perform in the high mountains or else we can forget about that top 10 GC

Suparman being extremely useful here at America! Great race for him, hope he can show himself once more from a break, is rather good fun

Major, major victory for the team. Montenegro just secured himself a new contract for next season!
And, we now have two horses to bet on in the mountains competition, though the gap to Arredondo is quite big.

Congrats Marco! And thanks for the report once again tsmoha.
Brilliant ride by Berhane. The first of many that are needed if he is to somehow stop Lofkvist, but very nice to see after his more recent mountain efforts.

Ouch, this is going to very exciting...
Hopefully Lövkvist can recover well to the next stages and gain a lot of time on the ITT. |

Considering that was a nothing stage for Bonsucro ... move over, I am joining the minion party! This really has been a special race for the Minions, two years in a row now!
I really did expect plenty of abandonments there, guess it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be. |

And Kononenko being a beast again, great to watch him keep up with the big names with a relatively low MO stat. Now the TT should be something for my GC men who are all decent at it, but not too great...
