What happened to all the Becherovka guys?

If I remember correctly, Stybar got a flat tire and almost all of his teammates waited for him to try to get back to the front, but as you can see, they didn't succeed.

Well the TTT didn't go terribly. Cicero with a Top 5 too Shock

Another uneventful stage for my team. Had hoped someone would join the breakaway on the flat stages when Zabel wasn't around, but most likely Claeys or Zepuntke is seen as a too big leader for it. Now bring on some clobblestones

SotD
Nicely done by Tom David to keep that high in the GC.

Too bad that Coppel was dropped that much. Had a quiet hope that he could fight for a top 20GC.

I hope he can save himself a bit and win the TT.

Well raced by Zepuntke, got scared early when he wasn't mentioned, but he was there when it mattered.

Hopefully he will do well on the hills now aswell, can't expect him to climb, but keep a good position

wackojackohighcliffe
Gilbert fairly well-placed before the hills, hope the racing will be selective there because I can't imagine the TT will go all too well.

Great to see Canc take advantage of Bewley - less moment to beat off the next generation of Bewley slaughter victims VanSpray and Blythe.

Schumacher, Visconti and Gilbert need to be marked in the hills - particularly Schmi who is pretty good at the testing lark.

Still lots of dangermen have been eliminated from the GC picture you would think there and certainly a lot more decisive than cobbled stages have been in the past.

Hills next - the right tactic of course would be to allow a break to take it and let the GC boys wait for the norwegian hills to battle it out whilsyt putting in more time in the TT before then.

How does Visconti do it!? Every stage race that has cobbles and he ends with a top result, incredible.

Looking great for Pendleton this, Gilbert with great chance to all but secure staying u now.

Great work from Gaudin to finish in the group with most other cobblers after being in the break. And Gautier didn't do too badly either, finishing with the big group of non-specialists. Now to hopefully take advantage of that.

Bushwackers
Hey Schumacher! Finally he does something good, what an effort to get back to that group! I would not be surprised if he can't do anything in the hills though. Thanks for the report!

OlegTinkov
Had hoped for more, but Gusev is already having a great season, so I can't be mad at him!

Ok, this race is officially an absolute disaster for my team.

But this Russian rocket... What have you given him the last couple of race days, Mresuperstar?

Steaks! Apparently his new diet is paying off. Oh and brutal honest that he could be shipped out again to another team if he didn't start performing.

What happened to my team on Stage 3?!? It's like they thought I wouldn't notice that none of them even tried. Unacceptable. Plus dead last in the TTT.

Maksimov might be the only guy I let back on the team bus when it's time to head back home...

You should make them TTT home, they clearly need the practice Pfft

A 1 minute gap is opened between a group of 20, which includes all of today’s favourites luckily, and some bigger groups.

And I thought this was going very well... Pfft

Having Kristoff, Kogstad Ringheim and Breen finish more than ten minutes behind is obviously a huge disappointment. Hopefully we can salvage something, basically anything, from this race through a breakaway or something.

Congratulations to Smowz! Great to see Cancellara boss it on the cobbles. Feels like it has been some time since last time he won something there, though, that's obviously mostly down to Bewley.

Ahhhh, so close for Gastauer! Nicely ridden, but pity he left just a little too much to do in the final kilometre. Also a shame the peloton didn't sat up - need big gains there to help my faint chances of a remotely decent GC result.

Tom David could well be putting in a crucial performance to put Festina into pole position for the PT title, while Stybar has bounced back somewhat for Becherovka.

Interesting to see Visconti lead, but Cancellara still the big favourite.

Well, decent attack by Styby! With some luck he could bring home the KoM jersey and that would be quite a something after such a nightmare first 3 stages. Vesuvio and Festina are having a great race though, not something I exactly love to see at this moment of the season.

Things are going good so far - 3 riders in the top 20, but Havik will disappear from there for sure, while Sinkeldam will struggle in the time - trial. Van der Velde with a good chance to finish in the top 10 though.

Oh, and the teams classification would be nice to have Smile

Burghardt Rolling Eyes

Bobridge Rolling Eyes

Visconti Cool

Of course Cancellara will rape him in the TT, but maybe Visconti can hold on to a good GC. Great to see him saving our race with Burghardt failing big time on the cobbles. Really could have been a great opportunity for the German... Well, let's be positive: it's the race lead for one day Smile
