In theory Vanderbiest and Gautier should do quite well in this field. There tends to be a difference between theory and practice where my team is concerned though |

I have a lot of guys vying for leadership here, hopefully that'll work itself out for the best...

Just hoping that my guys can cause chaos on the cobbles again, and maybe steal at least a podium place on one of the stages. I just want to watch the world burn
Great preview, as others have said.

Well, or we finish behind Festina
Always a pity to miss out on a TTT victory as 2nd on the stage. Guess it could habe been worse, so it's at least a result. Burghardt with a solid start, he surely needs to perform on the cobbles!

Good win for Festina
As expected for my own team, hopefully this will make my riders be aggressive. If any of Zepuntke or Clayes are going to get top 10 they have to attack

Nothing much to say, TTT's are the only result that we deliver in consistently as shown by our stats, shame we can't do that on otter terrains.

I see we're peaking early in the race with a podium in the TTT. Better than nothing at all though!
Congrats SotD.

Pretty solid perfromance from the guys there just faded off in second half but Fab can pat his troops on the back for a glorious opening charge.

Festina are currently looking like a team on a mission. Congrats SotD. Decent start for my team, I truly couldn't hope for anything better.

Wow.
This is much much better than expected! I hoped for a top 5, but the win is incredible! Especially because of all the Young riders, also scoring points.
Clearly things can only go down from here, but the goal of getting 100-150pts from the race seems very possible now.

It was not the best of starts but could not expect a lot more because Fiedler alone does not perform miracles still I am happy with 10th place

Could have been much worse, definitely.
Thanks for report!

Dropping Kristoff in the TTT is probably good considering the chances of getting in the breakaways, as it seems to suggest we've got no overall leader, which is right.
Congratulations to SotD, Festina is definitely on a roll at the moment! |

HOW do you go from leading it out and being front all the freaking time to this:

I'm not sure who to blame, leadout or Cicero..so that's good I guess at least...

Very nice to see Bystrøm pick up the KoM jersey! Hopefully it means he tries to go for it, which makes stage 4 absolutely crucial considering breakaway participation. Though, admittedly it shouldn't be the worst stage for him considering his hill stat. Fingers crossed.
Also encouraging top speed from Kristoff, but the positioning is always going to be a lottery. Very interesting in seeing how we play the upcoming cobble stage. Kristoff, Breen and Ringheim should give us options, but I have absolutely no idea how AI will work that one out.
Congrats to rjc on the stage win! But this Russian rocket... What have you given him the last couple of race days, Mresuperstar? |

Random sprint there with a number of guys hitting what could only be described as end of season wall.
Holloway not really in the mix - that said stage 3 is the big one for my guys.

I got the highest possible score from the first two stages, so I have to be happy with that!
The next stage is going to be extremely crucial for the GC. I suspect most of my riders are going to lose 8+ minutes, thus getting completely out of it. I really hope that Tom David have gotten a free pass to ride the stage from the front, and that Coppel can limit his losses.
What happened to all the Becherovka guys?
