Like our cities aren't depressing enough, they should now build equal buildings as far as the eye can see? These brick eyesores?
I tell you the perfect bike city: No cars allowed, way more green, trees, grass, water, don't make ugly ass buildings, don't make people so pussies that they can't ride through a bit of rain.
That's just my opinion, though
Why would you cover bike paths? that's just strange, what's wrong with riding outside anyway? This just sounds like a strange idea in general.
Perfect bike city is pretty much Amsterdam/Copenhagen I guess without cars and greener, etc.
The only other thing is without cars.
Exactly.
We're way too alienated from nature as it is. Don't take away our air, too (was gonna say fresh air but that's already stretching it)
Anyway, doesn't matter much because his plans would never see daylight anyway (get the pun?).
But I do find it annoying that still we continue to do nothing significant to save the environment. Still are not changing our ways of life, our massive carbon based vehicle system, the dirty and unnatural food industry, de-forestation and whatnot.
But, but, we make electric cars (bs) and solar power (mostly bs) and increasing taxes on cars (money filling bs).
Everything will be all right |

Sounds like what you are describing as the perfect city is the countryside.
Edit: On Car Tax, let me just say, that is some serious BS. I know here in the US we have car taxes in Connecticut but not New York. And guaranteed al l he fines and fees they charge you don't do crap towards actually helping the environment. Plus, once you've put a tax on something as if it's land, where does it end? How is a car you've purchased different from you computer, your bike, your water bottle? Can they tax those too?

Got my very first solo gig in a few hours.
Have done about 30 shows in my life with various instruments; saxophone, drums, keyboard, guitar.
Always as a good background band member.
Now I've got to get up there alone. Just my guitar, vocals and harmonica.
What have I gotten myself into Hope I don't get tomatoes thrown onto me. If I stay tomato-free, it'll be a successful evening
I pray to the gods Dylan and Drake that everything goes well |

Thanks. It was actually pretty good!
Tonight I do it again, though I'll probably mix it up with the setlist, play some different tunes.
Well it's a whole other thing standing there on your own than with a band to back you up, but it's fun, too. Happy I didn't forget my lyrics
Also very nice that a friend of mine was there an taped the whole thing so I got it on video and I can learn from my mistakes and improve myself!
First reaction from the organiser of that evening: "it's really dylanesque, isn't it?" Guilty |

It took a lot of hassle and a lot of patence, btu I got my learner's permit.
I was there for 6 hours. Turns out the horror stories about American DMV's are not just stories...
