In first place, greeeeat report SN Smile

Meh, first really serious mountain stage and Ikibe snaps out of top 10 Sad
15th OVR is still nice, very nice but well, 8th place deceived us at GenTavisGaz more than a bit Pfft Less happy about Formolo's 28th though.

Morton isn't missing a shot, looking forward to the last 2 stages! Congrats Festina btw Wink

Egger... If you are planning to attack, why do it 10 minutes down?

A fantastically written report SN! A delight to read from start to finish.

Nice to see Kudus going off the front for my adopted L'Avenir team, and is rewarded with a Top 5 on GC now. Shame he couldn't pick up the win.

A shame Campos didn't really go on the attack. Well, he finished 48th in the GC which isn't really a bad result Pfft

Incredible racing here. Grin

roturn
Cataford`s bike. Pfft
It was already weird in the prologue.

Olivier doing about what I had expected. Now it`s to defend the 4th or possible even a stage win? Unlikely though.

The Lecuisinier - Morton battle is intense. Great final stage to come.

Ikibe! Nice 10th for him Smile Good to see he hasn't given up all the hopes of a top 10 after that puncture.

Well this is a hell of a battle right now, Lecuisinier outdoing himself and same for Morton. Stage 10 is gonna be an epic one Cool

But most importantly I'm thrilled to see who will end up ahead between the La Lavandier brothers Pfft Betting on Mathieu actually, this would make a good H2H bet *hint hint* Wink

Thanks for that report SN.

Carapaz still very much in contetion for top ten now, even though he lost some time closest rivals, that was to be expected with only 68 tt Smile

Top battle still very tight, look very much forward to the last stage!

Not great, not bad.. Glad Morton kept yellow with still 18sec. But of course this will be like nothing in the final stage: if the Frenchie can pull a gap, it would be more than that, I guess. Anyway, we know he lacked the smart tactics so far Wink

Haig did well! Had minor hopes for a stage podium, but okay. If he will do use usual support for Morton, he should be amongst the first groups in that final stage.

Shikai though.. Still remember that climb last year. Definitely still a threat.

Good to see Cort with a solid ride today after he lost a good bit of time on the previous stage.

Good to see Kung's efforts yesterday didn't mean he was so tired to lose GC spots today, just one more to go for him to hang on to his top 10 placing, hopefully he will do a better job following the leaders on this final stage as his break and decent TT suggest he is getting better form the longer the race goes on.

Nice stage. Morton should still take the overall, but atleast this opens up things for the final stage. Vasyliv doing decently, but not good. Herklotz OK aswell, while Sütterlin dissapoints which is really too bad. Having two riders "loaned" in, I really did hope that they would shine individually, but Sütterlin has been edged on the first stage and outclassed here, and Herklotz in 9th is perhaps slightly below what I hoped would happen for him.

If he ends up taking a top 10 while Lecuisiner wins then things are fine, but if Lecuisinier can't win I hope Herklotz moves to 7th atleast - As a thanks for the help.

Final stage will be nailbiting for me - Atleast until Lecuisinier does something stupid like he usually does Smile

68TT isn't bad though Smile - The riders around him:

Merhawi Kudus - 68
Yuriy Vasyliv - 70
Richard Carapaz - 68
Stefan Kung - 66
Silvio Herklotz - 68
Jack Haig - 73
Alexey Lutsenko - 68
Magnus Cort - 70
Michael Kolar - 61
Sota Ikibe - 70

Only riders to really stand out are Kolar with 61 and Haig with 73. Everyone else is basically the same Smile

Great, because Demare and Daniel said that they would like some Festina-experience (Again for Demare) Pfft

Feel free to help with the chase for them and form a train for Demare next season if you like them so much. We'll need any support we can get. Pfft

Ah okay, didnt check Smile Assumed he was slightly lower since he lost some time, but maybe it was just fatigue or bad daily form then, thanks for listing!

Great riding from Kudus, a shame he couldn't get the stage win but more importantly he has managed to get into the top 5 out of nowhere, would be brilliant if he could cling onto that on the final day.

Should be an exciting final stage with such a close battle for the GC win.

valverde321
A little surprised to have won the stage, but wow, it feels great! Obviously Shikai has recovered better than others, and 3rd looks good now for him.
