Just an update:
I realised I was a little early with the discussion topic and since we don't have anyone to report many of September's races, it makes sense to hold back on this - at least until after Baltic Chain Tour.
In the mean time, a bet: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=42190

This link leads to the first post of the thread and not the bet, or was that supposed to be so?

121st and 130th from the two Netia riders. Maybe they'll join a break at some point.
Thanks for the great report SN, looking forward to the next stage.

Good start from the Festina lads. I would have liked for Vasyliv to do a bit better, but other than that things went Well.
Congrats to Metinvest :-)

Not really the stage we expected anything :-p Now bring on the flat stages
Was there ever anyone other than Zmorka that could win this?

Nice report, SN.
Solid start from our team, and with Holst Enger within 20 seconds of Zmorka there's at least a yellow dream, eventhough it's not realistic. Galta with a time loss, but there was no way around it and as expected.
Congratulations to Avin! |

Wooohoo, great job Marlen!
Our french fairy tale continues and after winning Herbiers, Zmorka proved that he is the best TT talent of his generation. He was clear favourite, but bad day could ruin it, so we are very happy to celebrate our first Avenir stage win in history of tthe team.
Hopefully Grosu will try to make it two stage wins during next week, with help of Räim, who also did very well in the prologue. However beating Zabel and Gronewengen will be very hard, it is doable with good positioning.
Thanks for the report and for the congrats guys!

Yeah, Zmorka could easily finish further behind with -3 day (not sure if he is rated as leader for the stage and thus cant get -5 form). Coppel could talk about that.

Solid start for GazTavisRali 's lads, just a bit disappointed by Martinelli, surely could have done a bettee TT.
Gratz Avin!

Gauthier unexpectedly good in this prologue. Even though it's 33th place

Olivier with the expected time loss. Could definitely need some time trial improvement.
Cataford in 11th a bit under expectations but not too bad.
What frame was he riding there though? Did not look like my usual one. |

If the route didn't have that long TT then La Lavandier could have a real go at a top ten here, but I could see him struggle to make even the top 15.
+1'06"
Well that was even worse than expected

Decent enough start for Aegeon was hoping Cataford could sneak a top 10 but not to be with the teams lowest placed rider 62nd though a good start |

Placing my last PCM$ on Shikai... so there's no pressure, Lachlan Morton
EDIT: Oha, just noticed/realized/remembered, that the thing already started! I guess the GC-bet is supposed to be "closed" right? If there's a way to remove my late bet, feel free to do so.

Nah, it's fine. Don't see an issue with the bet being open until after Stage 2.

Decent start for Räim. However, his key stages come up now, hopefully leading out Grosu. Nothing special by Campos, he'll need to attack at some point to make his appearance worthwhile.
