How many CT teams do we have? Because it could be a good option to only keep one division as we don't really had too many active teams for two divisions?
Enough to make two decisions. Allthough I hope we still get around 5/6 more to get as much as last season. I'll start a big PM campaign soon to get some more in.

A real shame that Silvio has just disappeared completely. That said, these things happen.
Without doubt, for me, SAP and TVM should be the next teams to go up, decent squads already, competitive, active and decent results. I am sure the relegated teams (Skinnergate/Fiskars) from ICL15 will be more comfortable in the CT.
Honestly I didn't even notice that Silvio was gone for so long.
I hope he'll still return in time for next season.
He won't. Of those that didn't sign up and were part of the game last season, I only know of Dippofix that he might sign up again. But he'll only do so if I have to fill up to get more teams. From some I haven't got an answer to my PM so maybe we have some luck and see some teams return.

Just about to get started with the rider development file. I haven't done one before so I've got a few questions that I'm hoping someone can answer.
1. Can the research that I did be used now or does that come later?
2. How do I filter out the guys with 0.00 progress points before I start assigning training programs? Can I just sort column Y to only include 'greater than 0.00' or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks in advance
1 will come later, once the development file is finished.
2. Just click on the symbol with that you also can sort the table and untick 0.00. Do you use MS Office or some other program, I'm not sure if it works in all of them. If it's easier for you you don't have to filter them out though.
Not sure what you mean with that? All riders of teams that don't sign up again will become FAs + current FAs that don't retire + some talents from the scouting file that weren't signed.. |

Thanks bikex, I use an old version of Excel (2003) so I'll have to see if that option is available.
Ollfardh, at the upcoming TVM - Sanyo fire sale we have decent riders at low, low prices! Get in quick to avoid the rush for names like Aarts, Masuda, Shirota and Honigh!
(only kidding, I don't think anybody wants them )

No, I meant that if there were a few teams that are definitely disbanding, if someone had bothered to look up which riders would become FA then
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Training - Research Stats Packs
Now after deciding where the research mones is spent, now the results for the stat packs are there. For the Potion of Youth I pmed the managers that need to tell me where to use it.
For assigning the stat packs please download this: https://www.mediafire.com/download/x57...s_Use.xlsx
Here you also see how riders stats look like after development and decreases for old riders. That doesn't mean you can't send in your development file anymore, though.
HOw the file works:
#1 Copy columns A-E of your riders out of the DB and post them in the table TEAM in A2. Next to them there will now your riders stats appear.
#2 In the table Statpacks you will find your statpacks. There is a column "ID" post there the ID of the cyclist that you'd like to get the boost. In TEAM the stats will be updated and you can check what changed.
#3 Send me columns B+C of your statpacks out of the table statpacks.
As a little help you can go to the table StatsNew and in columns S-AE you'll see how much points of every stat for a rider are missing to improve the stat by 1.
I'll be away from tomorrow until Sunday, I still try to post some NC results before but can't guarantee anything atm. I'd like to have all stat packs assigned when I'm back. I need them from: Filliers, TVM, Prorace, Geox, Eurosport, Liberty Seguros, Vegeta, Air China, SAP, Parmalat and Carbonsports. |

^ So we can't use them as material in the transfer window? Like last season and then apply them after the transfer window? |

What are the hard cap and soft cap (efficiency) for the dev teams? I need to make sure I don't train a certain someone too hard

My file is sent! Just noticed how massively I screwed up managing the money among the statpacks
Had to use some useless statpacks while I could have used the very same money to get more packs for Oss and my other classics riders
Yet I got Moser to 79 hill, that's all what matters

Just wanted to say that Fiskars in deed would prefer relegating.

Me too, I think a few of us just put nowhere near enough money into it to get anything more than bad management though.

So, with season 2 finished: Have you already an approximate time table in mind for the upcoming season transition?

Yeah I roughly have a plan.
For starters I'll post a ICL2016 DB today. I hope to still get 2-3 more participants to achieve the number of entries of last season. There are some candidates I'm in PM contact with that could join. After that, for sure already this week, we already can start with Steals, Renewals.
I guess transfer season will be around 4 weeks, but the hard part, that could see this getting delayed a little is finding fitting PCM15 stages and building the PCM15 db.
Last year the offseason was 4 1/2 months long, which was definitely too much. I hope to get it within 2 months this time. That seems doable.
For now, someone could make a velo d'or voting, like we had last year to fill some time.
I'd really appreciate the effort if someone could do that, you can take a look at how it was done last year

Ollfardh made me aware I forgot to answer some questions.

Correct

Every rider below or equal AVG 72.0 will profit from the dev team. Riders with a lower AVG more than the ones that are just below that. As the ranking points also have an influence on the development it could happen, though, that a 72 rider in a CT will develop faster than in a U23 team. |

Well that's gonna hurt then if you someone steals away the rider one upgraded for an enormous fee.

That would be nice to have. At the very least someone, who knows how to do it, could set up one of those straw-poll things.

If there are no volunteers I might be able to do it, but it might take some time as I need to finish the rankings file first.

The following has been quoted from Bikex and (slightly) changed to fit this season's voting.
Vote for the Nominees:
https://www.poll-maker.com/poll431339x...f9C43e8-17
This is still just a shortlist of riders, I want to cut it down to 10, maybe 5 for the final voting. Out of those, a Velo d'Or will be voted.
You can vote for up to ten riders, so even if you haven't followed the season very detailed you can vote, you can just pick a smaller amount of riders if you want.
I have selected 30 of the top riders from this season to appear in the poll. If you don't see your favourite rider(s) of the season, the poll even includes an option to vote other. Please write who the "other" rider(s) are so I can include them in the final voting.
You will have approximately one week to get your votes in for this part. Let me know if there is anything that you don't understand and I'll try to explain it for you.

Just a friendly reminder; nominations voting closes in just over 24 hours from now. We will then move on to the final voting stage which will run the same as last year (unless there are any objections to that)

Just wondering something while gonig through the DB, Rodriguez is still a monster and best puncheur in the game at 37, while Valverde who's "only" 36 has heavily declined and likely won't win much anymore. Where does this big difference come from?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
