A strong race for AMEX-Navigon. Four riders in the points paced by Ian Boswell's 4th place finish. Boswell was followed by Mehr-Wenige in 13th, Taborre in 28th and Busche in 42nd.
In total we tallied 140 points.

Horrible result. First race where LLS does not reach the expectations. But was it necessary that it happens in a goal race?

Narrow roads? Because otherwise that's the flukiest thing ever.
Less said about our race the better - looks like the suggestions for new riders thread will be my highlight of the second half of the season - but thanks for the report jihardy |

Prevar 151st... That's quite bad... Efimkin in 18th is more or less expected, but what a shit race this was for many teams.

9th is good by Hoogerland and Hermans getting a few points as well. |

Also hope to have some other guys finish in the points. Pozzato, Furdi and Hofland definitely have the ability to easily do so. They'll probably go into zombie peloton mode though.
They listened!
Looks like the constant high pace in the peloton punished everyone who was badly positioned, including some favorites. Glad my riders escaped that fate.
Monfort didn't seem to have very strong legs, but he joined exactly the right attack for another great top 5 result.
And excellent job by Pozzato and Furdi to both finish in the top 10 as well.
Our PpRD has probably taken a dive lately, but this sure helps the recovery.

Not outstanding, but the best classic result by Di Maggio this season.
Recognized he stayed calm and strong till the finish line. At Bianche, Seskin and Scandinavia he wasted valuable energy attacking way to early. Result-wise it turned out an improvement. Nonetheless we hope he can kepp the pace of the best in one of the following hilly classics for an even better score.
Gratz to Puma and thanks for reporting jihardy!

I think that's a no pointer from us, seeing as we also failed to make the break I can't be happy even if it was kinda expected with Zardini missing.

Knowing my luck it was narrow roads and we have to replay the race.
In case we don't, wow! A carbon copy of Kelderman's Strade win, basically. Very smart racing combined with actually having the legs to pull it off and go past McCarthy in the end.
I don't quite get why the Gazelle depth pays off again but ours doesn't, but that's nit-picking.
Feeling slightly sorry for the teams who were affected badly this time, but I guess we all get f*cked by this game sooner or later...we're a good example that the tide will turn again (at least for one race) now
Seriously though, if I come back to daily in the evening or something and can't find the report anymore, I need a break. From life. On Mars or something. Just so you already know.

Then, sir, you don't know your luck very well
Means: congrats on the victory!

Did not have high expectations for this race so the 11th is a good result

25th and Hugentobler in the breakaway once again, I'm satisfied! Thanks for the race.
