You're really exaggerating about Tom. TT-ists can perform great on climbs. Even with their weight Cancellara and Martin can be winners in semi-mountain breakaways, be good mountain domestiques. Not top class, but good. What happens when they loose some weight - they get much better in uphill terrain, cuz one kilo down out of 75 means with the same effort you ride with a higher speed. I'm not saying he's clean, but you suspect someone is doped for doing great in hills in a weak field(or at least in bad shape). I'm much more interested in how much he weights currently cuz that could explain how he suddenly became a GC- contender. Wink

But he hasn't become a GC contender Wink

I have seen 90% chance of rain but not heavy rain. The rain is probably better then a hot stage for most guys though.

I think for froome's health we should all hope not. He can't even keep himself on the bike as it is xD

The stage will be a major disappointment with only attacks in the final KM
Oops, tried to say the final climb

You may be right, it's too hard and scary so many might only try to survive. Hence they will take it easy (medium) over the first climbs, then they might attack if they got anything left.
No Gung-Ho attacks, which is sad....
