Fuente De is the last chance for Purito. The place where he lost Vuelta already once...

It will all come down to that, Shonak. That stage could throw up gaps of well over 2'00. VDB looks to have secured fourth, but I am hoping for second place on stage 20. Won't get it though, will we?! |

I think 2 minutes won't happen, Fuente De isn't such a tough climb and Purito won't pull a Contador unfortunately. 1 Minute would be enough though already so fingers crossed.

I disagree with you guys - we need more Eneco Tours. Van Emden wins twice in two days!
Gesink with another 'almost' in the Vuelta, and a breakaway appearance in Canada probably isn't enough to get Shirota back off the unemployment line at years' end.

Last stages of Avenir up as well as the last two Vuelta stages, a final overview over the race will be found here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1101208
Tomorrow you'll get the QuebecSC and a rankings update from me hopefully. |

A decent end to the race with two top 5s when my riders finally try. Stunned at how many WT teams we beat in the rankings there. Obviously not as bad as I thought.
They're still all getting sacked though.

Well well, I suppose in the end the overload of hilly stages and the lack of multi-mountain stages - the very reason why the big GT riders avoided Vuelta this year - is the reaosn why we lost it. Sigh. Begrudingly I give congratz to Ollfardh and Mochema. Not happy with the results though.

My neither, buddy. Me neither.
The Russians will take the WT title now. With VDB and Gilbert I fancied we would put 600/700 points into them here - they put 400 into us. VDB in fourth but disappointing. Praise be Van Hecke, his stage win was the tops for us.
Massive update Bikex, thanks. Not too many races to go now, what we doing for the WCs? |

I'm glad to know someone shares the same attitude I constantly have towards my team.
There are exceptions of course with Hoogz and Van der Lijke, who always do something and Jasper Bovenhuis, who actually put in a good effort here. As for Stef Clement - your new contract is ready whenever you want after those last two Vuelta stages! The guy who was meant to be an all-round domestique saved our respectability almost single-handedly.

Clement also almost won the last stage, with a late attack he was almost successful but finally passed in the last kilometre by the other members of the break.

Rankings now also updated. As I'm quite busy tomorrow and friday the next race will probably come only on the weekend, also because of a mistake with the startlist maker I won't be able to fix until then (@the rider).
Until then you can discuss about possible routes for the worlds like the rider already pointed out, now that we get into the last month of racing. |

Rankings look good, first in WT but 8th in Prestige, definetly a lesson about doing more continental races next time. Thanks bikex.

Nice to see Vuelta had such a thrilling finale! We had all 3 fantastic GTs, also great final update with all those stats Bikex!
It'd be well in line with my MG-Team 2trava.
No shit mate Think you had too many first places really
About our team latest results, Praha was disappointing but realistically shouldn't have expected more from Guarnieri. On the other hand, 4th and 10th in Canada is not bad at all but leaves me with a kinda bitter taste in my mouth after Moser latest performances were boding well for those 2 classics. I mean, 4th is great but not hitting the podium hurts!
Thanks Bikex and Shoank for the updates!

Ben Swift
He couldn't win an egg and spoon race against a blind boy with no arms. Fucking useless.
Cav not much better though sadly.
Rankings look good though. Well ahead of LA and LI who I thought we'd be battling with. Safe in mid-table again.
So close to having another season done. Thanks Bikex

Knockout's Sprinter Gods are mere mortals, wtf
Good stuff though. The season is ending soon, Liberty Seguros may need to take some money in its hand. First season almost everything went right for us (except that one stage where Contador lost maillot jaune for PCMAi reasons), this season we came twice second in a Grand Tour, did not get proper stage race wins (Course de la Paix, Tachira..) and were only somewhat decent in the Ardennes. Purito has a chance to save his season now for good with a double in Bucaramanga and Il Lombardia, please.
As for possible routes: The hillier the better.

I have no sprinters, cobblers. in my honest opinion I think we should do a mountainise WC for Majka or a hilly for Valverde

Well, fuck it. Why do I have 11 of the ten best sprinters when they perform like this in the one race that is a pure sprinter one
Vuelta was great for me. It is amazing how many points one can get without a single climber in the squad. Strong sprints by Kittel and many many breaks make for a good GT.
Rankings are okay. After Le Tour it was already obvious that it will not be enough for the top spot and we look good in the battles behind.
And WC? I thought about Qatar perhaps?
Seriously, I would prefer a different kind of profile as last year. So perhaps cobbles? Or heavy mountains?
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

If WC course is cobbled then we can hope for a top ten, otherwise we don't have much of a chance at anything.
